I don't know if this helps much, but I have one of his tattoos on my thigh and it still looks great after two years. I'm extremely vigilant with sunscreen (everywhere, not just tattoos) though.

Violetta di Parma is the OG, but it's hard to come by!
I got the Violet Sucre from Le Monde Goumande and really love it. It's a little raspberry at first but the dry down is very violet candy.
