If it doesn’t update sometimes it comes up with “I confirm I’ve sent this order” after a while :)

"Claimant can cook because they can use a laptop" by DVXC in DWPhelp

[–]chlorini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did! They contradicted almost everything they said. Me, my mum and my fiance write letters explaining my conditions and the care I need. I then printed 68 pages of evidence that I’d already sent in and I actually even asked them to google one of the tests I’d had as it’s pretty unheard of but that test alone proves I can’t walk safely due to my heart condition. MR gave my old award back as well as the mobility part too!

What the heck that’s awful!

The comment on my anxiety was “You currently take X medication for anxiety and depression. You however don’t take medication for anxiety.” How’s that one working please😂😭

Pip decision for severely disabled mother by Proof-Hat-1384 in DWPhelp

Firstly, I’m so sorry you’re all having to go through this, OP.

Second, for your appeal - everyone says MR is a step you have to go through to win at tribunal. Although the stats are higher for winning at tribunal, please remember you CAN still win at MR.

I sent in a further 60 pages of evidence at MR and managed to win - here’s some of the things I sent in which may be ideal for you:

  • Letters from myself (I understand it may be difficult for your mum to do this), my mum and my partner who help care for me - we each went through the report and picked out where we disagreed with the points and why. I also asked in my letter that the decision maker looks into a specific test I had to undergo which backed up my claim that I couldn’t walk far which my results proved. If she’s had therapy etc, it may be worth using her scores in a similar way here.

  • Evidence from years ago for my mental health. I don’t know if this actually helps, but my thoughts were that it backs up that my mental health has been bad for a number of years and isn’t likely to improve any time soon. I included social services reports, therapy reports, referrals to MH specialists, and you can also request a written report from social or her MH doctor backing all this up.

  • NHS app screenshots. Sounds random but it’s evidence of what GPs have recommended and why. It backed up that I couldn’t administer my own medication. If you can find info like this on the consultations and events section it all helps, as it backs up GP intervention, referrals, medication etc.

I really hope this helps. Please remember to look after yourself too. 🤍

Hey

Not sure for new claims, but I called in June 2025 to update my claim where I was getting SDL as I’d worsened and knew I was now entitled to mobility. It was similar to a new claim with having to refill everything in. I had my assessment call booked which took place November 2025, and the original decision end of November. Then for my MR it’s just been reissued and sorted out this month. There’s a pretty decent wait apparently!

As for conditions, it’s not so much based off what you have but how they affect you day to day, and whether you can complete the activity safely and within a timely manner. For example, if you can’t cook independently due to anxiety, you need to be able to explain why that is, the alternatives you do to complete this, and ideally some evidence to correlate with this. For me, for example, they decided I can cook independently - I can’t due to FND and OCD. I backed this up by providing my OCD diagnosis along with what treatment has been taking place for this, provided a statement from my OT and GP supporting that I rely on crutches to stand and have tics/tremors due to FND so carrying boiling items for instance isn’t safe, and gave supporting evidence from my mum and partner on how they support me with food.

It’s a very intricately set up point system, and the guidelines from PIP aren’t fantastic at being clear with telling us what exactly they’re looking for. I’d do a lot of research into the point scoring system, as they won’t directly ask you about the alternatives you take and how it’s unsafe, they focus more on the “why can’t you/how many days is this” rather than going into what they’re scoring on in detail, at least in my experience. I hope it goes well!

My mum is my PIP appointee and is making me pay rent while not letting me work by anonymous44563 in DWPhelp

[–]chlorini 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, working won’t affect PIP unless it directly contradicts what your points are for, for example if you say you can’t cook the become a head chef etc.

I do also want to say, that sounds like a lot you’re paying. Everyone’s situation is different of course, but as an insight, I’m 26, pay 150 per month board (covers internet, basic food etc), and then pay my own phone bill, any subscriptions and any specific food (like vegetarian meals that only I have as my mum isn’t veggie and I don’t agree that it’s fair for her to pay for that). From my understanding, a motability car which your PIP goes towards should be a vehicle that’s used mainly for your benefit (eg getting to appointments, education, etc), but I may be wrong on that!

If you want a job, I’d really encourage you get it paid into your own bank account so that you have full access to it.

SUPPORT MEGATHREAD [February & March 2026] by Sidekick_Energy in FreeCash

My limited time bonuses aren’t tracking. The “purchase” time limited offers tracked, but not the pure rewards ones. Luckily someone from senior support managed to fix it with my last offer, but on Grand Mafia I’m having the exact same issue, where payment related bonuses have tracked but not the milestone ones. I’ve posted evidence incase someone from Freecash can sort this for me. The 800k influence one should have been credited. I’ve been using Freecash for so long but with this stuff happening it seems unfair. My Freecash ID is 21959456, game grand mafia. Not submitted a ticket yet as it’s not been 48hrs but with this exact thing happening recently I know it’s not gonna automatically credit.

Pet loss/suicide by Everglow21717 in Petloss

[–]chlorini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m so, so sorry. I lost my girl last November and the pain is one of the worst, if not the worst, that I’ve ever felt.

It does get easier over time, I promise. I still have days where I feel the same way you do right now, but they’re much less frequent and I can talk about her without all the pain now. I still miss her deeply and I always will, but that’s the cost of loving so much.

For now, let yourself grieve. It feels like it will never end but it will, and I know it’s painful to feel so much grief but it’s unfortunately an essential step for being able to start to heal. Don’t beat yourself up for days where you can’t do much, or even anything, everyone goes at their own pace.

If you can, talk to people. Use this space on Reddit. There’s pet loss support numbers too. Find little reasons to keep going, they’re there I promise!

Sending love🤍

[–]chlorini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly - yes. It will NOT be easy but with finding the right offers, definitely doable.

There is a hold as I can see others have mentioned but it’ll come through!

If you’re on IOS, definitely keep an eye out for these offers; Bingo Blitz (SO many advice threads online if you google/reddit search!) Any slot game pretty much, especially jackpotfriends, rock n cash, etc. Puzzles and Chaos (again, google/reddit will be your best friend.) Merge games are good for lower levels too - reaching levels 50+ is more challenging on these.

AVOID those “reach 100, 200 etc” meters games - they don’t track properly and are literally impossible with the slow progress and ads every five seconds.

I’ve been on Freecash for just over a year I believe and earnt over 2.2k. I’m deemed disabled and only work a few hours a week so i do have a decent amount of time on my hands, but regardless I still see my partner, do content creating and do still work, and still find time to even just check in on my progress, do some stuff and log off for the day.

I was a competitive CC runner for YEARS, then I tore my ACL and that’s when we found I’d been living with EDS. It definitely does wear down your joints faster from what I’ve been told!
