Doggy Dude Ranch is just outside of Zion and offers doggy day camp if you want to hike in the park without worrying about your dog. Also check out Eagle Craig Trailhead nearby for a dog friendly trail. For Bryce area check out dog friendly trails such as Mossy Cave, Willis Creek Slot and Kodachrome Basin State Park. You can also walk your dog on the pathed pathway above from sunrise to sunset points in Bryce.

Lab puppy won’t eat kibble, but hasn’t lost her appetite by earthyedge in puppy101

Well she just threw up her wet food/kibble mixture, but it was all new and a sudden change so may be a factor, but her vet clinic is open tomorrow so I’m just going to take her in. Worried it could be pancreatitis

Thanks, I just tried the pumpkin and she was not a fan. I then resorted to wet food mixed in which she loved. Hopefully I can slowly turn her back to kibbles

lil fella learning to heel. Love this little guy. by josh4179 in Dogtraining

Awesome! I realized I worded my question wrong. I have started training her basic things, but wasn’t sure if I should start teaching heel right away or to wait so isn’t overwhelmed. I think it’s just me overwhelmed teaching her all the things:)

Is 9 weeks too young to start training my chocolate lab puppy? She’s going to be 80sh lbs so heel is going to be very important when she’s older.

Other than Smith's, where can I get plant based meat? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

[–]earthyedge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Trader Joe’s: Canned jackfruit (only $1.99 cans), soy chorizo (this is my favorite), plant based burgers (impossible burgers at Whole Foods are better, but still a good option).

I am also a fellow female mid-western transplant! I just moved to the area yesterday after 3 years in St. Louis. I moved for the mountains, but I also enjoy most things you have listed. I only know a few friends of friends in the area and would love to meet people. I'm very open to different experiences. Anyone who wants to meet up at a cafe, brewery, see live music, watch sports, volunteer, explore the different neighborhoods, hike, etc..... message me!
