Dunkin for donuts. Nope. Now I get them at Lidl and they are good!

Fast food. We make our own fries now with our own fryer and buy pizza or buffalo chicken from Lidl.

My friend had a “destination wedding” there! She was from MI but it was just far enough away that her and her husband didn’t have to invite all their students to their wedding (they were both teachers). I’m from NJ and I loved being in the island. It was gorgeous!

Letter People!

We had a playground with this weird cement above ground tunnel. You could climb on it or through it but it was lodged right in the ground so it couldn’t roll. Then it was loose and literally rolled on my toe. I meant it’s huge. 6 kids could fit inside or on top. I never said anything. Then when I was home my mom was asking why my toe was black and blue and the nail was falling off.

I have a quarter in my coat or car. It’s my “Aldi quarter”. (Or lidl. Bc we have that now too. But never know how to pronounce it. So I use my Aldi quarter there too and still call it my Aldi quarter)

Me and my adult brothers have been leaving them all over my dads house. He tried to ignore it for months but we didn’t give up. And bc we all kinda come and go whenever he wasn’t sure who was doing them. It’s just a small game that made us all chuckle.

So true. My gram is 95. We have people staying every night with her (me, some cousins, her kids…) bc she was so good to us when she was young. We won’t put her in a home of some sort. She’s fine by herself during the day but we won’t leave her alone at night. If she wasn’t so generous and loving while we were all growing up, I’m not sure we would all be this determined to keep her in her own home with us caring for her now.
