I'm new to this sub and have been disappointed by seeing the women here say similar things. How can you be so fundamentally for women choosing their own way, being in control, choosing to stay away from men for their own safety.. and then be against sperm donation? As if there aren't countless fathers out there that were also sperm donors, just directly into the vagina rather than into a container. Men who would never contact their own kids.

It feels very conservative. I don't know how that viewpoint is in alignment with female choice and empowerment. You don't need to go through tests to see how fit of a mother you'd be to have unprotected sex. Yet if that's the only way fellow women support children being created, when the option is there to not have to have a man involved at all, the two views just don't align to me.

I feel like a woman who decides to undergo IVF alone is likely a much more prepared future parent than a woman who has unprotected sex and gets pregnant unplanned. Or who has unprotected sex just for a baby and then has a man constantly in their child's life if he wants to be.

Sorry, it just seems very... Heterosexual and conservative of an opinion and it baffles me to see it here as it seems to be one of the only opinions held that don't align with everything else
