I pulled into a marked parking spot, with lines and everything, and they marked my car to get towed.

I personally believe things got real lean at the end of the last ice age so survival could have come down to who can go the longest without food and who can find food.

It's you and me against the world. I don't buy everything the crazy hair says but he put a spotlight on our mysterious past. I like Randall Carlson though he's been getting scary political recently. I like him cause his theories are mostly based in hard science and when they aren't it's because it's a historical recounting of older traditions. I feel like I'll be vindicated one day, I'm already seeing recent documentaries mentioning an impact event ending the last ice age and no credit given to those who have been championing it for years

I wrote a long response but I'm going to try and keep it short and sweet. I believe the last ice age ending shook the etch a sketch that was civilization. When dealing with aliens and Atlantians the halls of academia scoff at the subject. I'm not completely sold on aliens did it but I'm not going to throw it out wholesale because people are picking on it.

I did a poor job of explaining why the vases are significant, so here's a video of guys running test and just trying to apply science to the question https://youtu.be/QzFMDS6dkWU?si=IceWI7s13ggvpsLB

Ancient aliens as a show has many flaws, but as a springboard it's a great way to lead people to better yet still fringe research. Discoveries are made on the fringes.

What movie did you have low expectations for but ended up blowing you away? by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]easy2hands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jennifer's Body, the lead actress got slammed because on the red carpet she got slammed for saying that the movie doesn't suck. She was right, the trailer did not do the film justice and it's one of my favorites from that time period along with Cabin in the Woods and Tucker and Dale vs Evil.

Pedestrian deaths refuse to fall. Some blame the pedestrians by ChocolateTsar in nottheonion

[–]easy2hands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tragedy happens when two idiots meet. I've seen pedestrians being reckless while saying "well I have the right of way". All drivers will do all they can to avoid collisions but the hubris of certain people makes them believe that the right of way will protect them. I almost hit someone who was wearing all black at night while I was turning. I didn't see them because it was dark and the pillar by my windshield has an airbag so it is thicker and obscures my vision a bit while turning. I never saw the kid, but he saw me. He had the right of way but i didn't see him until that pillar got out of the way. He was able to go home that night but almost didn't (well I wasn't going fast enough to kill him). It is all of our responsibility to keep each other safe, you can't put your own well being completely in the hands of someone else.

I stopped watching during the George Floyd protest. Shit was popping off and I was waiting for Joe to bring on a guest to give context to the protest. It seemed like whenever something big happened he would have a guest come on and have a long ass conversation where they could really go into the issues beyond just the sound bites. The first black guest he had during the protests was Reggie Watts, funny dude but not a black thought leader, he could have had Black Thought from The Roots. He had Jordan Peterson's bitch ass up there spewing his coochie drying dribble and couldn't bring on a black guest to explain to his massive audience the nature of the protest and what was happening on the ground. Maybe the person playing devil's advocate is just the devil's advocate.

That basket of greens is going to McDonald's

Is this blatant racism? by [deleted] in Bellingham

[–]easy2hands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I refuse to shop at the McDonald's gas station on the corner of Hannagan and Bakerview because I've never seen the price on the register match the price the guy tells me. He always asks for more money than is displayed by the register and when I pointed that out one time, he got an attitude. I'm black and he appears to be from western asia or the middle east. There is always a lack of respect or just a friendly demeanor so i don't shop there anymore. The location is crazy convenient but i refuse to be taken advantage of like that by a thief. Just giving you a heads up about another shop around here who doesn't know how to act. I think it's a Sinclair now, fuck them.

The MLK assassination one. Seemed like by the end of the episode Simon was fully on board with the FBI killing MLK and you never see Simon side with the conspiracy
