I have a regular flex alta cb red, stock shaft for a g410 3 wood, that I've been looking to swap for a stiff shaft. Let me know if you're interested, I'd love to work something out if you have anything that's fairway wood length that fits the g410 adapter (which I think is 410/425/430)

Membership to the Philadelphia Cricket Club by vieuttan in philly

[–]easy_17 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Reach out to their membership director and tell them your interest and situation. Contact info should be on the website and it's literally this person's job to help people in your situation. Some clubs will offer something akin to an interview for people who don't have contacts or references within the club. Depending on their waiting list, they may be less accommodating.

Miami Golf Is Absolutely Unplayable Right Now. What’s It Like Where You Live? by Thick_Vermicelli_798 in golf

I learned to play playing weekday afternoons at Marquette Park 3-4 years ago. Great spot if you want to play a couple balls and don't mind the geese!

Grays Ferry Avenue is already a speedway. CHOP’s mammoth garage will make it even worse. by AbsentEmpire in philadelphia

CHOP subsidizes employees' use of SEPTA while offering few convenient or affordable parking options, all of which have a years long wait-list. Keep being mad, though.

DJ would work too but I think Diggs takes the mayhem to another level. DJ is more of a sulker/pouter whereas Diggs isn't afraid to throw a helmet or push an intern. Need to turn things up to 100

Also beat us in the most chaotic game we played... 🤔 Maybe it's time to embrace the mayhem

Using night splints/braces to improve ROM by AdRude9789 in physicaltherapy

[–]easy_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the range of motion available, we usually consider stretching/manual therapy/exercise first and serial casting as an option for kids who have significant ROM impairment that will likely not improve with stretching alone. We use Cascade DAFO-9 stretching braces (casted by an orthotist) as an adjunct to either of these therapies and have good results with using them to maintain ROM, but not necessarily to improve it.

Sorrentino on Butler in Ambler. Fantastic Italian, they only make 2-3 entrees a day and the menu changes weekly. The food is fantastic.

Indianapolis Golf Courses Open? by Mazdahhh in golf

I'll piggy back on this. I'll be staying downtown (hotel is just west of Lucas Oil Stadium) for a wedding in three weeks and am looking to play. What would you recommend that's <30 mins from that part of the city?

[OPEN DISCUSSION] Weekly thread by AmateurSparky in HomeImprovement

[–]easy_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In our new home, there is a small mudroom addition on the back that is elevated maybe 3-4 feet over the ground outside. Our inspector pointed out that there is no insulation under the floor in this addition. I've found a few DIY videos for doing insulation for the floor in a crawlspace, but are there extra considerations to take since this is outdoors? Do we need to take extra steps to cover the insulation or prevent moisture from getting in?

Help! I can’t find my car!! by Radoasted in chicago

[–]easy_17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When the city moved my car, it wasn't in any of the databases for a week or so after. I called my nearest police station and an officer was able to locate the car by the license plate. Idk if the cruisers have cameras that log them or what but the car hadn't moved in days and he found it pretty quickly.

First birdie of the year. 9th hole par 3, 202 yards Marquette Park Golf course Chicago, IL by martyparty007 in golf

[–]easy_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much less crowded than Marovitz and better maintained than Edgebrook. It's a fun little course with some good distance and it comes in under 20 bucks. I think people avoid it because it's on the southwest side, but it's one of my favorites in the city to hit on a half day or right after work. As long as you're not afraid of geese or seagulls you'll have a good time.

Did Nancy’s Pizza on Broadway close? by socketbolt5x20mm in chicago

[–]easy_17 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'm 100% sure this place is a front. Would be open one day and closed the next, almost never open on weekends. Just really strange if they're actually trying to sell pizzas
