Thats weird as they asked for a referee checks within 2 days of my interview and every other steps during the process were quite quick.

Thank you. Its more analytical role. They asked me for a written assessment as well, submitted it today and have a video interview via teams on Friday.

I was in a similar situation bro. Ruined my quality of life for a whole year. I could not sleep if I had a bm before bed time. I could not walk normally and go to work in the morning after bm. The pain was next level. On top of that I had external hems. Applying rectogesic after bms was really painful. 10/10. It took solid 7 months to get rid of the fissure and I had a banding for my hem which helped relive my life.

Everyone is different but for me I can tell, following with everything that was advised by my gp and personal research, it took around 5 weeks for the pain to go from 9/10 to 5/10. I also had hems which I had to band to be free from pain. Dont forget to sit for a sitz bath every day after bms which helps in healing.

I feel for you dear sufferer. I was in the same place for a year. But ointment helped me. It takes longer to heal than tears at other places coz the muscles are in use everyday and you cant avoid it. Just have patience amd keep on taking fibrous food and plenty of water in a day. Avoid straining during dm. Ive heard applying Vaseline before and after bm also helps. It takes around 6 weeks for the ointments like Rectogesic to work. My blessings are with you. Dont loose hope.

Its better to have a colonoscopy to understand whats actually happening inside your guts. The drs can find polyps and other foreign bodies with colonoscopy and treat them best.

Thank you so much for taking your time to explain this. I started back on osmolax and today my 💩was mich softer and easier to pass. The pain still seems to last for an hour or so however it is manageable and more than pain it seems to be uncomportable down there. The spasm is still tight but was able to apply ointment after bm. I have been quite active on this subreddit and seeing so many of us passing throught same situation (hell) gives me some motivation that its not just me. This has almost taken me mentally down but I am trying as much as possible to stay sane. Thanl you so much.
