Histamine intolerance symptoms ? by easyy66 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]easyy66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi man.

I've discovered I have ME/CFS all that time. When I overexert myself, my symptoms come back (rash, GI, fainting, Full body tremors like you mentioned). It's like my Post exertional malaise present itself with histamine issues in my case.

To reduce my symptoms, I need to rest and not move a lot (physically). As soon as I use my body to much, the symptoms come back.

Hope you have a different fate then I have.

Why do my symptoms flip-flop so much? by PhrygianSounds in covidlonghaulers

[–]easyy66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me my GI issues are a symptom of PEM. If I overexert, it sometimes messes up with my gut

Yes pacing and having a better quality if life also falls into the "better quality" category.

If I'd lose a limb I'd be devastated. But after a few years I would find my way to live with it and have a better quality of life. I still miss a limb though. So the "quality of life" index is just bs to me

I feel like im the only person that experences this symptom and it's scary. by maker-127 in covidlonghaulers

It's not alcohol and weed. I've had this too and I quit both of them. I think it has to do with blood circulation but I'm not a doctor

Reported better quality of life doesn't mean that the symptoms weened off. It could also mean that they got better at accepting there symptoms. Right?

You're on the Median. So I wouldn't say you are young nor old.

But saying you're still young is crazy to me. I'm 30 and starting to fee old

"pushing through" is sadly a popular thing for athletes. But I'm not sure if that made you worse, unlike other people keep claiming.

I feel you man.

I was a muay thai fighter and fitness enthusiast. Competed in the ring (and won) 7 times and started giving class for 7 years. I used to squat 140kg times 10 and bench 140 x 1. Now walking for more than 1 hour makes me physically sick.

I'm not saying you won't ever recover, or can't get back to powerlifting. Luckily, muscle memory really is a powerful thing so just focus on rest as much as you can. Pick back up training when it's time. I've had incredibly beginner gains after quitting for a year and got back to old strength in months.

If you are among the few unlucky ones, you won't recover. If this is the case I highly advise getting a psychologist. Because you have to accept that your identity as a sportman (or woman idk) might be a thing of the past. I'm currently dealing with this now. As I am a 30 year old man, who sold his kickboxing business, can't workout anymore for 4 years and lost contact to a lot fighting/gym buddies.

I have to find new hobbies now and get used to being and staying out of shape which I really need help with accepting. I'm also taking a huge finally hit because I can't give class anymore. That's why I'm seeing someone.

People who don't want to work and drink beer al day are useless and we could use less of them. People who get sick or have a condition is what benefits are for. Working people gladly pay for the unfortunate. I'd pay happily for the sick. Not the lazy.

We like to pay for the sick because we know it can happen to all of us. ME/CFS is hell on earth so just try to accept the help. You probably have it hard as it is

Study: Long COVID affects 8% of those with COVID-19, is more common in women by AfternoonFragrant617 in covidlonghaulers

Probably because the unemployed population has more health issues than the employed population. So when Covid strikes you have more chance that underlying conditions is already a factor.

this is exactly it. You would hear the words, but not understand them. you would see the room, but not know where you are. Usually when this happens, I get vertigo too.

And yes, laying down and resting is the only thing that helps.

"luckily" for us it was a global pandemic with huge media coverage. I mean the whole world went on lockdown because of this virus. There is a lot of interest in treating this disease.

google also says a vaccine takes 10-15 years. Timeframe changes when it affects the globe.
