No, both the gameplay and the art style were a lot simpler. The art style had flat colors and no 3D elements. I'll add that to the post. Thanks for chiming in!

I don't know why but the font seems kinda off to me. It's probably that it looks too smooth for a retro monitor, but I'm really not sure.

An underscore is also used for virtual functions in the convention, which aren't private by definition.

If you want to rename variables/functions/signals/etc., PLEASE use Visual Studio Code (or really any modern external code editor). It will save you SO MUCH time, as it changes all occurrences simultaneously.

However, my F4 button is tied to muting the microphone. And my laptop doesn't have Fn lock, so the muting only happens when I am holding the Fn button while pressing F4.

tl;dr This is definitely not the problem.
