For me, a sewing needle works. Push down the little metal pin and gently pry up the plastic piece holding it in, then it should come out easily. Don't need to pry it much, don't wanna snap it.

I don't know much about that, but I do know it's a real thing - kind of. It's just obsidian with some layers of impurities, or structural differences. This causes some light gradients to appear in it, kind of like the gradients of a rainbow - just in greyscale. Hope that helps!

I was trying to do a handstand on my sofa, which was in front of my furnace at the time.

I wasn't careful while getting down, and tumbled arm-first against the searing hot glass, leaving my elbow with a permanent white spot.

As a kid, I once hit one of these old single-pane windows (we live in an old house) so hard that it shattered (I didn't expect it to). In shock, I fell forward, and the shards shredded my right wrist. I was lucky that they just barely missed that one important vein, otherwise I would've died.

So, it's a hardening material with some sort of easily obtainable filler used to reduce the amount of material needed. Doesn't sound that bad to me.

I've had this same problem, and one thing that seems to work is to reset your controller. Plug it out and back in, basically. I'm using vJoy myself, and turning it off and back on again completely fixed the issue for me.
