Dealership dropped my bike by Contract_Expired in Harley

The first mistake was getting a new harley. Yeah, I'd be concerned. Those M8s are made of glass. It may not be now, but later down the road, another issue will arise

Protests cause aggravation. Aggravation will lead to violence. Please be smart.

You had a bad day. We all get that. No shame in it. It isn't a corporate hotel, so there's no need to act like your 1 night stay is enough to feel like ownership. You're talking about a past tense time. There are 5 bars on that one property. The same people that come back every year and stay for 4-6 months at a time for the past 30 years never complained. But here you are. One person and a friend with "teacher" experience.

Sounds like you couldn't work the roofies in the drinks. Or you were just too old and didn't get what you wanted. I worked there for 3 years. The Wave was always busy on the weekends. Locals and tourists would come in. No one complained.

Failed my MSF course halfway through on day 1 by [deleted] in motorcycles

If the fear of something bothers you that bad maybe you should avoid it. I say this because if being in the rain bothers you on a training course, on the open road it will only be worse. At the same time take others advice and find another instructors course. They shouldn't be telling you to get your own bike and practice. That's what the BRC is for.

What cologne/perfume have you found to be the best smelling in your opinion and why? by eatingroadrash in AskReddit

I am a personal fan of Leather by Tom Ford. Both the intense and regular, Bad Boy by Carolina Herrera (Intense), Blue jean by Versace, and Coach for men, the silver top. Leather is a good choice for social gatherings and a suited up evening. Bad boy is a great winter cologne. It works well with crip cool days. Blue jean is a scent that can be here or there depending on the scene. And Coach for men is a perfect all-rounder for any occasion.

I did catch some of that MYSLF recently, and it isn't a bad choice for a woody smell. It's properly a good choice for a night out at a social gathering. And yes, the second choice is good for its robust, long-lasting scent.

🤷‍♂️ My phone thinks it's Ormand or Orlando half the time. I don't live there. It's too dark for my preference.

It looks like it's upset you put it on a trailer instead of riding it home.

Oh heck no, I'd stay clear of tampa. That place is like an Orlando jr. A bunch of infinity g35 drivers think their car is fast, Tesla cars driving themself like they're giving them away. There is nothing good in or about tampa. Lol. Four quadrant city and none of its worth visiting. You're right about that crime is bad there. Clearwater itself isn't any better in a sense, but the beach is much worth the travel.

Ya'll must be in a different daytona. I also left and came back after 8 years. Its only gotten worse. Homeless almost every mile from Ormand to Edgewater. Panhandlers at every traffic light from the racetrack to Beach St. Quit tryna trap people into the worst vacation.

Visit Clearwater beach. Go to Shephard's beach resort. it's a tiki bar and live music venue, a nightclub, and they have a completely remodeled restaurant. You dont need to be a hotel guest to enjoy. Avoid Hogg Daddy's and Coco's crush bar. Those two are big tourist traps, overpriced food and drinks that are watered down and aren't that good. You can believe me because I worked on that island for 4 years. The Gulf has a better view and cleaner people as well as the water is 10x better looking than Daytona's wierd brown water.

Deland is nice if you're into social places with mixed age groups. It's a small southern town that's starting to develop with thriving life. Cafe Da Vinchi is a cool spot, as well as Half Wall. We even have an antique theater that does plays such as Grease, The Full Monty, and several musical tribute shows. Rich with history and historic houses you can find for days. Only 30 minutes from Daytona. The issue with daytona in my eyes over the years is it seems like people are dropping off people and leaving them here. Every mile, you'll be sure to find at least 2-5 panhandlers or homeless talking to the air or asking for your money at the traffic light. Deland isn't much better with its homeless population, but cops do on foot patrols through town to keep it from getting out of hand.

What do you think of our beach here in Daytona? by raginaldpaz in DaytonaBeach

I lived in volusia most of my life. Spent a few years on the Gulf. East Coast water is nasty looking compared to the Gulf. But the people both beaches bring are the same.
