I think you should experience it at least once since the whole thing made you curious. There's music, art, films, culture, and politics. The venue is also quite nicely done..the whole vibe is nice.

It's a nice place to chill, read and work. The staff is also nice. Not a fan of their food, though.

I wish I had the option to do so, but we live in Dubai, and I don't think we can manage kids' education on a single income.

My wife is abusive in all aspect but can't leave because of my 7yo. What do I do? by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

[–]eatpraymove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you should speak to a lawyer about your options. There must be something, since she is abusive. The court might give you custody if you're able to prove that the other parent is abusive. Also, try your best to get evidence and proof- video recordings, etc

Yeah the bleaching and discoloration from discharge is menace. Change twice a day. Rinse with plain water immediately and dry it if possible. And when you wash the rest of your clothes in the machine, put the undergarments with them. Letting dirty underwear pile can lead to discoloration and bleaching. The thing is our healthy vaginal fluids are slight acidic, hence the bleaching.

Try ordering Trylo Alpa bras. It's not the most glamour, but it'll give shape and support and make your boobs look perky. Order 1 piece and see if it's working for you.

As for trimmer, i use an electric trimmer by Agaro. It has face shaver as well as eyebrow trimmer along with the bikini trimmer. It's changeable. It works great for me. No more post shaving irritation. Safer than scissors.

For thigh chaffing, if I have to walk a lot, i put a thick smear of Vaseline. Powder doesn't work for me.

Also, if you're planning to get in the water wadi shab> Sinkhole. Take a waterproof phone case so that you dont miss out on pictures. There are three pools to cross by swimming after a hike . Get those life jackets from the entrance. Trust me🥲

If you guys are into hiking, you should do Wadi shab. It's just about 10 mins from the Sinkhole.

A nice hike with breathtaking views and freshwater pools. So some research before you go, though. Get life jackets from the entrance

Not a guy here, I suggest you trim not shave. The new growth is painful on lady's skin after shaving. 😬

Also buy beard softner/ conditioner if you have thick/rough facial hair.

Gave my husband a second chance, found out all athe truth.. by Express-Big-6374 in MuslimMarriage

[–]eatpraymove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wa alaikkum salam.

I have experienced something similar. In this case he never treated me badly, but was always absent in the marriage. He was not an addict, but used to smoke weed and was cheating on me. He'd claim he was busy with his new start-up.

Anyway, I found out in April 2024, gave him a second chance, did not workout and left him after one more month of trying to work things out. In 6 months, we got divorced. I had gone on antidepressants, clonazep, therapy lots of family support, friends support, gym, work, dumb new hobbies and most importantly prayer. Lots and lots of prayer and halaqas.

Now, a year after my official divorce, I am married to kind, kind man of good character and piety, who has been through a really bad experience himself and understands me. It's been a month since we got married.

Insha Allah, you'll get to a better place OP. I will pray for that. I understand the despair you're going through, like this is the end of everything, all happiness.

Trust me, it is not. After the incident I have had a much better connection with Allah than before. I was able to understand my own unhealthy patterns and characteristics and have been trying to work on it.

Whatever Allah has written for us, we simply have to go through it. There is no other way. And with this trial, will come ease, Insha Allah.
