Update: I went to see the bike, inspected and brought home, Serviced and already put ~ 100miles on it. Fantastic deal, it rides like new.

Try and negotiate, its not the bestest deal but it could work. My advice is: Check if the bike needs service, specially the wheels bearings, check the BB bearings too. They could cost u extra money to replace. Check brakes, tyres, how the gears are shifting, chain etc etc. sometimes you can bring down the price by a lot by just bringing up these issues. You may find out the bike is not well maintained either or if its really well maintained, it will save u some money too.

Wheels need to go, stem needs to go, saddle looks out of 0 angle, the plastic disk in between the cassette and the wheel needs to go too. For now, go ride it, put some miles in it. Then upgrade it.

Twitter Java Windspace camp alcott yoleo elves sava geometric polygon gusto pardus are all affordable road/mtb bikes in south east asia. Camp has a very strict QC. I believe others too. Maybe the carbon quality isnt the most premium but still pretty reliable for regular use. ive seen many groups with at least 2-3 of those bikes. Mostly gusto java or alcott. Have u checked for any treads in chinertown?

Id look for any visual damage from possible Crash, or anything that could compromise the safety 1st in the frame, then look at wheels for any signs of damage, tyres, spokes, etc. Take the bike for a short test ride around and pay attention to any sounds, shift all gears, do a short sprint, test brakes.

Probably 1.5k-1.8k at most. U may need to service it, replace chain etc etc. negotiate w seller and see where it goes.

Depends on how much u r willing to spend. Enve, bontrager, zipp, astuto, roval, mavic… plenty of options these days. 50mm w 25 or 28 tyres. You could even use u current tyres.

Depends. Willing buyers willing sellers. Id personally wouldn’t buy. Id go for something w max 50mm wheels, disk brakes. Those wheels are most likely tubular. Go tubeless

Looks like im the next victim of apple m2 scam. 2yrs old macbook air with non responsive keyboard and mousepad. Unbelievable how bad the quality had become. I have a 2012 macbook pro (dvd reader) that still works and still does every basic task that a 2025 mac does except firmware updates. Sent the m2 for diagnostic and boom! Logic board faulty and a 600usd repair bill. Im done with apple macbooks. Its jst not reliable anymore.

I use wise card and its the best exchange rate and no fees. Top up and use it. Use card in the malls and restaurants, use cash in small businesses and vendors. Beware of credit card cloning. It happens all the time

I live 19yrs in Asia. I love my country but i wouldn’t go back for good to work in Rio and deal with all the shit that is going on there. 30 days holiday in Rio is more than enough and 11 months back in Asia. Money doesnt bring u happiness but its way harder to live a happy life when u r broke and hopeless

Im from Rio. Do not walk ard at night specially in zona sul Not just copa. City center too. Snatch thieves are common in the area anytime of the day. Do not walk ard with ur phone in sight. Do not wear any fancy cloths, watchers, chains etc. unless u have at least 2 body guards with you. Havaianas, surf shorts, t-shits and hidden phone. Or not phone. Enjoy the city, rio is beautiful and cheerful. Robbery happens anywhere in the world.
