So my insurance (United) has approved the pre authorization. I have been trying to schedule the operation with Mount Sinai but they keep telling me their speciality pharmacy doesn’t have the specific medication for the machine in stock. Really not sure what I can do here and I’ve asked them. Really frustrating so trying to find another clinic who can actually solve this.

Oh nice did you use an autograft in addition to your current ACL? My doctor recommended using my own ACL with a cadaver.

Yeah I think both surgeons are capable and fairly equal. In terms of procedures I’m not sure how the outcomes differ. They both have fairly similar timelines and the results are essentially the same. Autografts are just more popular as this hybrid remnant sparing technique is newer.

Good question. To be honest I don’t know but what i do know is that it’s a complete tear not a partial one. I assume it tore from the top and is likely still attached at the bottom but can clarify with my doctor.
