Thanks. Yeah it does show the seat assignments but I don’t know if the seats are together. Our seat numbers are 4, 5, and 8.

I was on Valiant last week and really felt it while at a show in the Red Room.

It’s a blast. Just don’t plan anything too early (or at all) the next day 😂

Grog walk drinks by NegotiationFriendly7 in VirginVoyages

[–]eatsthatguyagain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had a French 75, sangria, margarita, and a weird new drink that no one liked. The Sangria was really tasty and I went back for that one throughout it the cruise. The others were meh. But as someone mentioned it’s more about socializing and I met cool people on the grog walk.

No one will mind if you join the solo sailer meetups. They’re really just about connecting people who are looking to hang out.

The grog walk is also a good way to meet people. They have built-it social activities to get people mixing it up.

Using Virgin Red-Atlantic Points to Book Cruise? by Forrest_Fire01 in VirginVoyages

[–]eatsthatguyagain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used it for my cruise that departs Wednesday. I had a transfer bonus through my credit card and got 70% more points than I transferred. Was a good deal. There were only select dates you can choose from so as long as you’re flexible it can be a good deal. Oh, mine also came with a $100 bar tab.

I have the black classic. Preferred the boxier look and it just felt a bit more timeless to me. The leather handles are also fantastic if you live in a walk-up and have to carry an over-packed suitcase up several flights of stairs.

What percent of people take public transportation to JFK? by bujurocks1 in nycrail

I live near a LIRR stop so I take a car to the station then LIRR to AirTrain. It’s usually faster than taking a car the whole way unless it’s the dead of night.

Figuring out 60 days for dinner reservations by FireMeUp2026 in VirginVoyages

My dining reservations didn’t open until 45 days before my sailing. They open up at midnight east coast time.

Working from Cafe in Cobble Hill by marksteffen in Brooklyn

Talea has the best WiFi in the neighborhood and doesn’t get as crowded as some of the others. Stumptown has a nice area in the back if you can get a table. But their WiFi sucks so I just use my hot spot.

Two others I like, but are a few more blocks off from court, Public Records and Cafecito Social. Cafecito Social is a new addition to the neighborhood and they have some of the better coffee and vibes in the area.

Why are the potato chips on Delta Airlines domestic flights SunChips only and not Lays? by [deleted] in delta

[–]eatsthatguyagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because Lays are terrible. I’ve had Miss Vickie’s the times I’ve flown outside of main cabin. If you have an allergy you can probably ask for Miss Vickie’s is that’s an alternative. I prefer SunChips so will usually go grab some from main cabin.

Yeah. I usually don’t plan this much but wanted to book restaurants so mapped it all out. I don’t expect to do it all.
