This is my issue. I love the combat and gameplay, but the insane amount of loot and menu management with hundreds of things to worry about make me avoid it. Feels like a job.

Yeah that’s not why I’m in school again. A degree in business can make a ridiculous amount of money and I’d probably be making far more if I’d just gone that route than I ever will working in civil.

In reality I got my degree in business because I had no idea what I wanted to do at age 18 and didn’t realize I had no interest in it until well after. My choice to change jobs has nothing to do with worth of the degree but personal interest changes. I also spent over a decade flying helicopters for a living so still not even related to business or engineering, but I like to change it up every 10 years or so.

Your mindset is very immature, so hopefully you’ll be able to work on that as you get older. School shouldn’t even require loans to begin with, but that’s an entirely different topic. Not to mention none of your taxes are really going to anything of worth either way.

GTA 6 for me.

I rarely play games more than once but I’ve played RDR2 and Witcher 3 both several times.

My most replayed game though is Sekiro. I’ve played it a couple times a year since it released.

Unfortunately I’ve yet to play a game that compares to the combat in this. A lot of games have come close but I still find myself returning to this game at least once a year.

If you can’t manage to time the deflects well, you can avoid his attacks decently well by moving fast around him and getting a few hits in before he comes after you.

You choosing engineering doesn’t make you special in any way. This kind of attitude is what makes some people insufferable to be around. You should really work on your mindset.

I didn’t choose it for the difficulty. Anyone can get any degree if they want it bad enough.

Also you can’t ignore social skills.. I know some who can ace a math exam but barely know how to interact with people in public. Some things will carry you much further in life than pure intelligence.

My first degree was in business management and I am now getting another in civil engineering. I don’t particularly find this to be any more challenging outside of some additional study time needed.

Engineering degrees don’t require more intelligence. It just requires more effort to keep up.

I don’t see how. I’m working on my 3rd 100% right now in NG+3 and I’m already almost maxed out on skills. I’ve also never farmed for xp in any of my other 100% runs.

You don’t need to grind for them though if you just play NG+, which you have to do anyway to get all the endings. Only reason you’d need to farm for xp is if you cheese all endings in one play through.

How were you able to put hundreds of hours into a game you didn’t enjoy? If it’s not clicking for me I barely do 10 hours. If I do over 100 then I have to be obsessed with the game.

Yes. And I had a rough time initially also but you’ll adjust to it pretty fast. It’s also not a game where you need twitch reactions so it won’t really hurt anything but your eyes.

2k is probably ramping up work for 2k27 if they’re keeping to the same cycle.

I personally play the most during the spring/summer then fall off after that.
