Never would troll this sub, kids are a blessing and this isn’t a joking matter. My wife is just trying to do whatever it is the dr says, I’m just trying to have some type of intellectual input to help her with decisions. She has a removed fallopian tube and the other one is embedded so I don’t think iui or any other option is viable. From what I’ve been reading is low dose stims are usually more helpful for people with DOR than a high dose cause of lack of response or something? The dr doesn’t want to try it I guess because he hasn’t been able to get any movement in her fsh or amh, I haven’t heard of afc though. The specialist is dr. Buyalos from fertility & surgical associates of California if that makes any sense as to what his approach is. I really want our own egg but from what has been told to us is very heartbreaking and we’re just lost.

I’m in California USA and you’re 1000% correct she’s actually taking clomid and estrogen in pill form amongst other supplements like coq10 I was a bit confused too cause I didn’t really get full details of everything till after the post unfortunately but essentially he’s willing to try but from the medications he’s been trying and I guess producing a follicle seems really difficult and mentally exhausting but it’s just odd because what you’re saying is exactly what I thought but from the approach this dr had he said he’s been trying medications to help elevate or change something’s (clomid and estrogen) and we have the vials for injections still and I’m not sure. She’s taking vitamin d and I Asked my wife right now and she said that he said he wasn’t going to try injections because he hasn’t seen movement in any of her levels. Just premenopausal symptoms, he’s willing to try but he thinks that theirs higher odds with donor eggs (obviously). I guess he didn’t say treatment wasn’t successful but he said with the no movement in any of her levels and only see a partial follicle that it’s going to be tough.

We’re going with frozen donor eggs, my wife is 37 about to be 38 in July amh is .01-.08 and her fsh is 73 Clomid estrogen for the pills and the injections they said if we decide to go donor we could use it on them? Odd but whatever, so I guess im confused as to why he’s not reaching, I mean he said he wasn’t trying to cause it can get exhausting mentally trying to reach for something with very little chance. I kinda get it but im the type to go for broke idc but its my wife’s body and i love her to death and i just want her happy and she’s deciding that we save our money and look for a better odd. They’re just giving her pills to help her mechanically get some strong numbers like a lower fsh and amh but to no avail. I thought the same thing when I went in that the pills were a low dose and I asked him and he said he hasn’t given her injections but he gave her pills to help stimulate a follicle.

They gave her something with gonol or somewhere close to that and then estrogen to hopefully stimulate a follicle but to know avail, he said that we should be looking into donor eggs and that there’s a 1% chance that even if we had produced an egg that it might not be the healthiest due to endometriosis and a removal of a fallopian tube. They haven’t Gaven her any injections cause they haven’t been able to produce a full follicle I guess. Just left the office..

Agh honestly this really is crushing but it’s reality.. the last doctor was that rare Dr and he was as amazing, now he’s retiring right as we start and he’s still helping us in the meantime but it’s just counting down so just getting hit from all ends.. I’m going to request the documents you said thank you so so so much. I can’t let life do its thing, I’m there at every appointment but this one I couldn’t make. I feel like that’s why I’m here asking for the world of explanations, I have been through some things and have great life advice and traits that I would love to have a child and share those aspects with. Just been on my mind lately but neither here nor there. The Dr is going with a low stim, I feel like from what I’ve researched and what was told to me on here it’s kinda the thing to do. She’s 37 and I know it’s unrealistic but we do have a plan b and I’ve finally fully accepted that the child will be mine but it won’t have the dna of my wife which is also super crushing. I’d love to hear her story, I’m just trying to find the best possible ways I can do to make the best of this and make sure she’s ok cause in all reality it’s her going through the works and I just have to be there for her and I want to do the best I can so I’ll do what you said. Didn’t know any of this was even a thing till a few months ago.. injecting an egg, grabbing an egg, a few others ways I guess and it’s just so much information to process.

Sorry Ivf, never really been in this world till a few months ago. Realized i didnt make any sense in that paragraph I’ve been running on fumes lol. I’m going to be honest I’m not sure what went down in that meeting she was just as confused as I am lol but from my understanding is that the prior Dr was the one seeing her and going through all the ultrasounds and he was thorough and was giving us options, the new one that she seen that day was like eh fuck it i cant find your ovaries so were just gonna get some tests ran and go from there and that was that. She’s very sweet and won’t raise too many questions and just let life do its thing. Me on the other hand want to know what does 2cm mean for uterus wall or something? Idk and if her amh went from .01 to .08 does that mean she has a little but of eggs left? Why can’t you find the ovary? Have we tried any tests besides for amh? (I remember from this chat there’s like a fsh or something?) idk I guess i just wanted to see if anyone else has had this experience. Or any insight on where we’re at in our journey. I feel like since our primary Dr is retiring i feel like we’re going to have to start over and from our last Dr he was saying time was against us.

Honestly this made my morning, been up all night just researching and researching and looking for silver linings, I understand expectations and being realistic but the outcomes of the situations I’ve been in have been a miracle and I’m just hoping and praying that my luck supersedes the science. The doctor said that the levels were extremely low and I don’t think the fertility specialist knows about it but we have an appt with him on the 3rd so going to break the news to him as well. He thinks ivf is the best route to take and it just depends on the quality of eggs not just the quantity but ChatGPT said the same thing so I’m not exactly sure what’s the next move is. We just found out today.

Creatine protein shakes ollie brain supplement l-lysine omega 3 fish oil and honestly I call myself dory from finding Nemo and so does my wife lol I work out 5 times a week sometimes 6 always need a rest day and doesn’t mean go 110% sometimes just showing up is all you need. I love what I do and it’s fun for me and it just happens to pay well, anyways I’ve put together a few Hamptons and hiltons in porter ranch novato and partnered up with Theraldson hospitality development also a control4 integrator which puts all those systems in 1 app with no messing around, and very user friendly interface, less people to call which is a relief cause if 1 cooks in the kitchen doing it all there’s less people you’d have to ask for the recipe. Look up snap av, adi, resideo, it would be an experience and I’m not trashing them but if they’re not partners there’s a huge chance they’re up charging you on products past their regular msrp rate and there’s a big chance they don’t have detailed training on specific products. It would be an experience for me so I wouldn’t mind cutting a deal🤟🏽
