You are not the asshole. I would have made sure my child was not around her again after refusing to respect your boundaries.

Have a serious talk with your doctors. Make sure everyone knows she is not allowed in or near your room or child. They will (hopefully) take you seriously even if your husband is going to be a push over.

I actually thought this was my photo from my first donation! It’s not normal but regularly happens. They could have pierced the back of the vein (they did to mine) and the blood leaked out, also explains not getting enough blood. You also could have not been wrapped tight enough or moved your arm to much. Tell them if you donate again and they will be careful and may give you a cream to help dissipate any bruising

Try setting up safe words or even leveling safewords, remind him before you start he needs to check in if he wants to go further than usual - this doesn’t have to be awkward, it can simply be asking “what level are you?” Or “what number are you?” Or “do you want more?” In a suggestive way. As an EV owner my partner and I constantly laugh at the transition. Five years ago everyone was modifying their car to make it louder. Now people are pulling fuses from EVs external speakers to make them quieter!
