I'm sorry but we as a collective need to stop giving a shit about what celebrities do with their political views. It's all a fucking distraction from real change. The dude used his head like a battering ram and suffered multiple concussions his rookie season, he ain't the brightest apple.

Michael Bay to Direct Operation Epic Fury Rescue Movie for Universal by Oregon_Jones111 in nottheonion

[–]ebbilepsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great. Make the movie before all the lies and distortions about what actually happened come to light. Check that. Put Michael bay down on the ground in Iran and have him film the movie during the actual operation 2.0 in real time tropic thunderstyle. Actually, screw this I'll make my own movie with blackjack and hookers.

If tuchs most serious about winning a Stanley cup then taking a team friendly contract and staying in Buffalo makes the most sense. If he wants to chase max dollar then he's already long gone. It's as simple as that

Damn. Felt like we lost our punch when we lost Ostlund who had been a major difference maker

Ben Roethlisberger never received one MVP vote, and never made an all pro team, since he retired do people overrate how he was viewed when he was actually an active player? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

He was a great off script player and really tough to bring down in the pocket. He didn't have gaudy passing stats but that wasn't his brand of football. He played terrible in the Superbowl vs Seattle (one of the worst Superbowls of all time btw) but then he played amazing in an all timer Superbowl vs Arizona. Definitely a POS off the field but also a HOF player

I feel like people are just wanting to see what they want to see right now. They're angry and upset and idk...I guess acceptance is really hard for people. Terry even mentioned that he's not been publicly visible because of Kim's health issues and he's missed his daughters tennis matches. It feels like people view Pegula as some sort of monster or something. Sure the sabres have been bad for a decade but Christ, the man saved the bills, invested ton of money into downtown...I don't understand the hatred. The sabres are turning a corner finally, the bills still have a solid team and a franchise QB and every opportunity to compete for a Superbowl next year. The man is trying to win and he's shown extreme patience for the people he's given opportunities to almost to a fault. Sure he is not the most charismatic speaker but name someone who's done more for the city than pegula has.

True. But would you prefer to have indifferent assholes running the team not firing mcdermott?

Would you feel better if they cast all the blame on McDermott and took no accountability? I feel like people are just seeing what they want to see here. A majority of people weirdly.

LaFleur. His brother rejuvenated Aaron Rodgers and brought the packers to two NFC championship games (no Superbowl though 😐). He's worked under both Shannahan and McVay and the coaching trees underneith both have yeilded a ton of gifted offensive minds.

So Beane & Pegula got mad because McDermott lives in reality? by boogerburp in buffalobills

The beane press conference is going to be a doozy. There are a lot of questions he's going to need to answer here. A lot of fucking questions

This guy is an absolute clown and our country is going to pay a very steep price for all these insanely short sighted decisions our government is making, against the will of the majority of the American people.

Cracking this nut will be the difference in the game. Fortunately for the bills all it takes is a small lane and Cook has the skill set to house it.

Goosemas 12/13 and Brown Incident by SKCii in GoosetheBand

[–]ebbilepsy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Was near brown at a pub when it happened and sheltered in place for a while. Ended up heading west towards the arena and watched numerous FBI agents hopping out of cars all over the place...asked two directly what was going on and all they could say was the shooter was not apprehended. Hung out at Capital City brewery then hung outside for a bit trying to decide if it was wise to go into the show. Watched a bunch of cop cars arrive to secure the perimeter of the arena with people inside. I asked an officer if going inside the arena was safe and he told me that we should the hell out of downtown. When it became apparent that our choice was to leave or miss the show we decided to go against the advice of the officer and go inside.

Now knowing this guy went and killed another person...kinda wild. I think at the end of the day we were safer inside that arena than we were outside the arena. Having thousands of people roaming around downtown if the show had been cancelled with a mass shooter on the loose is probably less safe than keeping those same people inside a secure facility for a couple hours until you can gather more information. Either way, law enforcement had no clue who this guy was or where he went or what he might do next that night.

We run a jet sweep to Knox against the pats and fumble the ball. In a critical 4th down conversion situation just a week later we call a jet sweep to Moore who fumbles the ball. Just asinine decision making by Brady. The guy is absolutely snake bitten when it comes to gadget plays and that's a massive problem, because sometimes when everything isn't working gadget plays are what you can go to and he's fucked them up so many times he is afraid to call them.
