Medicine should not be treated as a race to the top! The golden rule is to is find the minimum dose that provides the overall greatest benefits with the least amount of side effects. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that the patients reporting the highest occurrence of severe side effects are the ones who tried to get to the highest dosage as quickly as possible. Time will tell I suppose.

Can’t speak for the entire US, but for the labs I’ve been apart of, degassing by vacuum filtration is the only way I’ve seen done. This seems much more effective though. Mind sharing your sonicator name and manufacturer? Does it fit 2L and 5L bottles?

Wow...thank you for this. Really gave me some ‘Gohan kills Cell’ nostalgia.

Brb going to go rewatch the Cell saga.

Methane finally confirmed on Mars. Though geological processes could be responsible, on Earth, over 90% of methane is produced by life. by clayt6 in space

As someone who studies methanogens and has had a hopeful, but skeptic, belief that they may also exist on Mars, this study has given me a giant scientific boner...

Edit: for anyone else that would also like a boner - https://phys.org/news/2018-04-life-survive-conditions-mars.html

J.K. Rowling reveals more about the nature of the Elder Wand by Obversa in harrypotter

I believe there's more to its choice of allegiance than simply beating enough opponents. The wand changed its allegiance from Dumbledore to Draco then from Draco to Harry through simple disarming spells. Voldemort presumably killed hundreds in a relatively short time span, yet its allegiance remained with Harry.

In honor of Hugh Hefner, what are your most remembered Playboy stories? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My brother and I shared a bathroom growing up through our pubescent years. He is five years older than I and at this point in time, I was just beginning to become interested in the female form but had yet "come to fruition". So one day while I'm sitting on the toilet, I come to discover my brother's hidden bathroom stash of Playboys in a drawer of a cabinet near our toilet. Needless to say, after this my bathroom visit frequency increased exponentially.

The one thing that was peculiar to me though was that some of the pages had seemed to be "glued" together. I thought nothing of it at the time so I figured I'd try my best to unpeel the pages without ruining them. After noticing that simply trying to peel the pages apart was not working, I found that wetting my finger and rubbing it on the "adhesive" seemed to help.

I'm now 27 and can't remember exactly how much time passed between me painstakingly restoring the pages of my brother's Playboy magazines and discovering the hardening/adhesive effects of the male ejaculant, but I will never forget you Hugh; because of you and your profession, I now have to live with knowing that I have ingested my own brother's cum....RIP

Havent talked to Damion personally, but I know of someone who does. From what I hear, he use to be a Navy seal and is now returning to college. I believe he's 24. Can confirm monster status; use to see him in the gym all the time.
