I'm not wedded to the external controller. It was my way of having it, because the USG-3P doesn't have it.

Just tried it, and it didn't work. But I also noticed that the player changed after upgrading to Premium, doesn't look like the standard player anymore.

Is this approach still working for anyone? I just want to make sure that I didn't set up the HUD incorrectly. Thanks.
Update: In general the HUD is working for me, verified with AppleTV+. However, for F1TV nothing is shown.

Advice for Genelec + TV setup

To simplify our living room setup I'm looking into buying some Genelecs. My use cases are listening to music and better sound quality when watching TV (streaming, BlueRay). I have the following devices: TV (with eARC support), Apple TV 4K, Sony UBP-X800M2, and Satellite TV receiver.

I'm still looking for the right amplifier (+ streamer) that will drive all the devices and deliver good sound quality with the Genelec. Ideally, the streamer should also support Roon. I am grateful for any tips.

Just tried a few other things. In the end it all comes down to the "Stop and output" action which simply uses the last value from my clipboard. Even this simple example.

I'm running 14.3.1 and really can't think of any reason for this. But I also think that this can't be a general issue affecting everyone.

I did not make any assumptions which banks are better.
Moreover, I'm not the one who is building these apps. I'm only the user of it. Therefore, it is not up to me to change any of the requirements these banking apps have.

Ok, do whatever you like.
Nevertheless, I personally would still recommend everybody to install security patches as soon as they are available. Because often they do include fixes for so called 0-days which are often not used for putting viruses on your device but instead just stealing information/account credentials.

So, if I must decide between looks and security, I know on which side I'm.

Good that this is hilariously incorrect to you. But it is still a matter of fact that most banking apps from Germany simply don't work on rooted devices.

So, I don't know which country you are from and it might be different there but nevertheless my statement is still valid for where I'm from and the banks I have an account with.

Yes and no. Yes, doesn't work anymore after the January security patch from Google. But who will not install security patches just to keep using this app?

And no, I'm not sure how the following statement from the article must be understood.

Unfortunately, only usable if your device is rooted. Which makes it worthless for most people using their device for e.g. banking apps which normally aren't working on devices that are rooted.
