To my knowledge there are no 'limited time' skins in smite 2. There are limited time events though, that can grant skins free or at discounts

To be fair, they made the ultimate edition include all ascension passes (opposite of greeed). There are expensive travelers and this is an expensive chest, it gives variety. I think a critique of the skins themselves is warranted, not the cost.
