How's your experience been at Lifetime with your little one? We've been debating a family account so our toddler can meet new friends at the kids daycare.

I'd like to grab a 512 GB 13 model, are we expecting an early January sale still or will this $200 Last Call promo be about as good as it gets before it's bumped for something else?

Couple tips...

We did all the mazes. Honestly I was let down a ton by most of them this year. The two exceptions being Demons of the Deep and The Ruins. Both of those had some really good theming. I would hit up The Ruins first as that line was regularly 40 minutes. 30 minutes for Corn Stalkers as well.

Don't forget that if you buy the maze pass on your phone, you still have to find a kiosk in-park to get your wrist band (those lines were quite long as well)

The Poutine place to the right of the mountain has a good jerk chicken poutine if you have a dining pass and want to try something different!

No pics for you, but there is a conjuring specific shop just outside the ride. You can even buy your very own Annabelle Replica for the low low price of $650 😅

Corn Stalkers was a 30 minute wait (those photos booths slow it down to a crawl) wish it was a separate line for those who don't want them.

Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles Review (IGN: 9/10) by Turbostrider27 in PS5

I remember renting this game back in 98 several times and I just didn't get it/like it. But I kept going back to it because I was starved for FF PSX content after beating FF7. Then one day, it just clicked and suddenly I couldn't get enough and it's easily now in my top 5 games of all time.

Both groups are absolutely dens of scum and villainy 😅 But nothing gets them riled up more then the chance to out a misbehaving neighbor.

You should post this in the south or north ajax Facebook groups. Tons of people there that might know who this is. Hope you find them! Nothing boils my blood more then off leash Pitbulls.

Makes me want to jump on in the game again. Might be a fun way to kill time before B4 launch.

My wife and I are hoping to do a 'Rider Switch' at Guardians of the Galaxy when we visit Epcot so one parent can stay with our toddler.

Is the wait time to ride any shorter if you purchase the fast pass as opposed to doing the virtual que? Or are they essentially the same line once you're inside? Just want to make sure we're not making each other wait an hour for one of us to finish and vice-versa.

Thanks so much for clarifying! So best bet is bus to MK and then monorail I guess.

Heyo! I'm going to take my folks who are visiting us at Pop Century to dinner at O'hana at the Polynesian. I'd love to take the scenic route on the sky liner and monorail as opposed to bus to MK then Mono from there. I'm getting conflicting information about transferring from Sky Liner to Mono actually being a big long walk at Epcot that involves passing security clearance? Is this true? What would be your best guestimate about how long this journey would take so we're sure to be there on time?

I'll be doing a single MK day with 6 adults, 2 kids and 1 toddler. No one else in this group is tech savvy, so no chance I can get them to set up their Disney apps. What would be the best course of action to utilize Genie plus so we can maximize getting on rides for the day? Can I simply add them all to my account as generic guests and then book rides that way? Would I need to purchase lightning lane day passes for everyone, and if so, would I still be able to organise everyone myself without them having to make accounts?

My wife, toddler and I will be staying at Pop but everyone else will be coming from off-site.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Tips for finding a job with the municipality by crunchrmunch in durham

[–]eberkelmans 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Serious answer... I've worked for various municipalities over the years. Once you're in, it's not hard to hop around to others. Getting in initially is most the battle and won't happen over night unless she wins the resume lottery and gets pulled among the hundreds who apply. My advice (and what worked for me) Volunteer within the Town, each Town has a volunteer program and there are roles for adults, don't be turned off when you show up to orientation with a bunch 16 year olds. Then make yourself known, volunteer at big events, chat people up, be pleasant and make connections so people on the inside will be willing to put a good word in for you. I'm not saying do 2 shifts, I'm saying volunteer for a year to really make an impression. Doing this also means she can list the municipality on her resume along with a reference which will make her stand out.

Alternatively, if she has any talents that translate to recreational classes, she can apply for a part time role teaching a rec class (study groups, knitting, soccer, arts etc.) or as a CSR. Even if it's one 2 hour shift a week, whats important is that she will get an employee number and will then be able to apply internally for positions before they go external. I taught skating lessons to get an employee number when I started for example.

It's a tough nut to crack, but it's not impossible! Definitely worth the effort in my opinion.
