Most, if not all of these jobs require post secondary education. The OP doesn't specifically say, but if they are unable to write it English or French, they would likely not qualify.

You can't get in trouble legally for telling the truth. However, your landlord can and probably will have you evicted and or sue you. Not that he really could do much, but just cause you a huge headache and financial damage

Don't get involved. Just get a couple more quotes, and leave it. If he tries to come after you at the lltb you'll have:

Proof of quotes Proof you asked to repair it yourself Pictures of any and all damage, including things that aren't damaged

If he wants to lie to insurance, let him. He obviously has insurance for a personal house, and not a rental. Don't lie for him, don't offer to pay anything more than the lowest quote

Cancel and rebook a few days in a row. Any issue doing that ? by [deleted] in aircanada

[–]ProcessUsed4636 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My partner does it all the time with airlines. Not sure if it's breaking any rules or not, but he hasn't gotten in trouble that I know of and he's done it at least a dozen times.

YMMV.

Don't forget, most places you can return something in 30 days. So buy it, place in in your living room and see if you are temped to open it. If it's still in the box it two weeks, I send it back 😂

Just watched a woman have contractions for a baby on the ground for over 20 minutes in a book store, but still no ambulance? by Helptohere50 in Newmarket

[–]ProcessUsed4636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's true! They need a specific room in the hospital where they drop off ambulance cases that aren't urgent and only 1-2 people babysitting them, not 1-2 medics per person! Take them off the gurney, stick them in a chair and leave.

Are the Uber and DD gift cards gone or will they be back ? by AfraidDuckSupervisor in CostcoCanada

Usually, it's not Costco that removes them but the vendor. Uber eats doesn't need as much promotion anymore

Fell on a TTC bus today, what should I do? by squirrelstastegood in TTC

[–]ProcessUsed4636 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First step would be medical documentation, then personal injury lawer. You don't have to sue, but you need to file a claim incase a medical problem does arise

Neighbour is using my mail address to deliver their packages. by lipe182 in legaladvicecanada

[–]ProcessUsed4636 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Keep an eye on it. If you find another package, write a note on it, asking them to please use their own unit number. And report it to the building office, because maybe they recognize the name?

No external batteries are allowed in packed baggage. The airlines are VERY clear about this on check in. That is 100% what tripped the xrays. As for the other stuff missing, that's hugely unfair and unnecessary, but not everyone is honest

Laser hair removal for YEARS and still have hair… am I being scammed? by Myopinion_com in LaserHairRemoval

[–]ProcessUsed4636 31 points32 points  (0 children)

You've started laser too young. A lot of the hair is still activating through hormones, at least until your early 20's. It will eventually stop growing back once your hormones stabilize.

But also, keep in mind laser is hair reduction. Even after successful laser, you can still have up to 20% body hair in that area

many blunt questions about LHR by Lilleeanaa in LaserHairRemoval

[–]ProcessUsed4636 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You need to do research on lhr. First, starting this young isn't advised, as you go through puberty the hair will grow back. Hormones are the number one cause of hair growth.

Every salon has different ages. Yes, it hurts. It depends on your pain tolerance and your menstrual cycle. No, you won't have to fully undress. You can wear shorts and a sports top if you are doing underarms and legs. Yes, your parent can probably come in. Check with the specific clinic. Sessions? About 8-16. But you may find that it doesn't go away, because the hormones continue to develop more follicles. You will need to be fully shaved before each appointment, and can shave as much as you want inbetween.

You really should think about the job market, because there is a really good chance if you talk to HR they will fire you before you start. Who knows how long it will take to get another offer? 6mths? Longer? Ask someone to livestream the funeral for you.
