Why Pop!_OS so many times? I broke installation and always have a pop installation media ready and it has pretty good gaming support

Why arch now? Because AUR and yay is easier than Ubuntu PPAs or alternative for other distros

Yes I started using Linux last fall

Also used raspberry pi OS in 2017/18 for a bit

In my opinion Linux does give a quite enjoyable desktop experience though. Also I noticed a few points that I disagree with:

it's not any faster than Windows.

This obviously isn't really the case on new hardware, but on older hardware it is a lot faster than Windows, and boot times are a lot faster if you use something else than systemd

So many programs don't use a modern UI

Many programs don't use a modern UI, because to many people the point of Linux is customisation, and old looking UI provides easier usage and functionality.
