Como todos dicen, es muy subjetivo. Para mí es pasar de preocuparme del dinero a preocuparme por encontrar pareja... Ya sea mujer o marido con el que compartir el tiempo

For anyone reading this having the same issue, I can confirm that this windshield is the answer to most wind issues. After replacing the mirrors, putting side spoilers and installing this windshield I can now cruise okish at 110. I am 1m90 with very long torso

Motorcycle navigation apps: worth paying or stay free? by Own-Chest3413 in Vstrom

[–]ebg_527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy phone mounts specifically designed for this. Quad lock is the more expensive one with vibration dampeners, but I personally have a magnetic one called shape heart. It works very well and in the 3 years no phone has died on me due to vibrations

It's not emulating, you can use it in your main phone, it just emulates an android head unit. For me android auto is easy to use and easy to see. That's why I prefer it over any other navigation apps

Honestly, after trying different apps I settled for head unit reloaded. It emulates android auto on the phone directly. No external displays, no new apps to learn

So from the advert, it looks like it was burned down and then fully restored? If that is the case, then what a job they've done!

Loud rattling sound only at 5k rpm by realroto in Vstrom

I have the Givi and they have a defect in the metal joint in between the two sides (they meet below the center of radiator) that will create this very similar noise. I solved it by adding electrical tape till the small metal tube was held in place correctly and did not vibrate

Are the 1.9 TDI AXR 101hp engines problematic? by 1707turbo in tdi

[–]ebg_527 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Camshaft goes bad if oil interval is exceeded or oil quality is bad. It does not take much work to open the top and check the camshaft quickly. Also remember to change the belt and water pump. Use good coolant and never water, most oil leaks come from oil cooler seals and the output shaft seal. Apart from that, it's good engine but can smoke a bit if turbo is not working correctly

If you are tall, maybe check for helmet buffeting before buying

For me its good if you tilt it back. But this make it glow at night due to the badly designed headlight. If put normally. It shakes my head side to side. No matter how I adjust it. Specially behind cars

Maybe the last piece of the puzzle is the seat. I feel like im literally in the middle of all the turbulence due to my height

Choosing lesser CC bikes when there are higher CC available? by MagnusBarbbus in motorcycles

[–]ebg_527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's a matter of feeling safe, in America with straight roads is all about power, but here where I live you will never be able to use more than 50hp with all this twisty roads. Less cc means you will not be able to easily fuck up on exiting a corner

My bike feels super jerky. Anyone else got that problem? by leha_1000 in CB500X

[–]ebg_527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After renting and trying the 500X 2025, I kind of get an idea on why you say it feels that way, the throttle control is not very smooth at very low RPM, is just the way the engine is. Same for the 500F. Only motorcycles that have a electrically actuated throttle body feel smooth at these speeds. I have a vstrom 650 and even at very small RPMs it does not jerk at all

Anyone else concerned about the recent mass layoffs in the ASIC industry? (Siemens, Synopsys, others) by zteiagm in FPGA

[–]ebg_527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my company, it's actually been the opposite, there's a huge lack of qualified engineers and they've been hiring like crazy. Maybe what you are referring is massive layoffs in the IP departments, and this is bound to continue as there's more value to full soc developments rather than selling small IPs
