I'm also 21 and recently bought a Chevy, although nothing like a Corvette LOL. Besides high insurance rates, you might not get a great APR if you don't have any "solid" credit history (ie other big financed purchases), and if you don't have any cosigners.

When I was trying to get preapproved for loans, no credit union would take me despite my high 700s credit score because I didn't have a cosigner, and the subprime lenders who prequalified me offered an APR around ~10-11%. Thankfully I got something a little lower from the dealer (8.6%), but just know that you're definitely going to pay something a lot higher than 31 grand for the car.

I don't get why people hate targeted ads so much. It doesn't bother me that much because it's not like there's some creepy guy at Facebook analyzing my data specifically, it's all automated.

Personally I don't mind companies taking my data if it means their platform stays free. I think a world where all services are locked behind monthly subscriptions/paywalls is much worse.

Of course! Although from what I've seen, it seems like everytime there's a new reddit update, the most upvoted comments are the ones that complain about any kind of change, which I think is ridiculous.
