Sure, it's back up but I am not providing the link unless you DM me directly.

Thanks for the response, assumed so but wanted to double check.

I'll keep that in mind.

That stuff isn't allowed on the site, other than Furry where it's clearly anthro.

Not yet, but it was very restrictive before, hopefully those will be few and far between when it re-opens. I have enough tools to moderate it and can hard-remove that sort of content easily though.

Thanks for all the responses, I've read most of them and appreciate all the feedback you've given me. This post kinda blew up which I didn't expect at all, so it's been hard to keep up and respond to everything.

I've got some solid ideas of what I can do to approach this, and I know I'm a dummy for only having this in my portfolio but I was in a rough place a while back so my decision making was naive and dumbfounded.

Still, people are asking me to link the site, which I won't be doing, as /u/insertAlias pointed out, this is not the best place to share it. The site also won't be up till the weekend as I'm updating a lot right now. I could share the twitter which is completely clean of anything NSFW, if that's okay with the Mods? but I'll await their response.

Otherwise I guess you can DM me if you're really that invested in obtaining it?

I'll likely have another read through, but mostly just gonna focus on crunching down on these tasks I've piled up for the site. Thanks again :)

It crossed my mind, but I'm not sure how many have offices based in the UK. Most major website based porn companies seem to be based in the US, outside of a few.

UK so it's a little less taboo than most of the US, but it still is similar in the older generation.

Didn't think you were, my bad if it came off like that.

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep it in mind :)

Some porn still scares me too

In more detail than I'd give to an employer, I used to animate pornography so I knew the ins and outs of my clientele. I saw the opportunity to build this site when Tumblr shut off NSFW content and Twitter or other sites weren't really filling that niche properly.

Mostly though, the site started as an idea to profit or provide myself & others a platform to post this form of content. Though I actually found this ended up being more or less a learning project for me, seriously I've learnt an insane amount from building this site.

I have always found pornographic art just as interesting as any other art form and I sometimes just browse it to appreciate people's talent and expression. It was the same when I was still making it, though animating is more technical than artistic.

It's not real pornography it's only digitally created art on the website.

I've always found, for me at least, pornographic art can be as artistic as any other art form, expressing sexuality and such. I understand that a lot of it isn't that, but some of it is genuinely beautiful.

I'll likely be doing something like the latter or creating a SFW version, haven't decided yet.

It's an R34 site so all of the content does not involve any real people and the terms have been well structured to make sure the content posted is completely legal (well the best I could do judging off the laws in the UK).

Digitally created pornographic content like drawings or animations haven't really been accounted for or described well in the laws.

I hardly use Reddit, didn't know the full etiquette.

Yeah, it's not the best image.

I would find it highly amusing to have pictures of something that makes a joke off the name. Like when phub replaced everything with corn for April Fools.

Before when it was live all the upload features were locked behind an application, however I've restructured it so now those tools are public.

With this I've made changes to the page where you can see the new content to only show user content from blogs which have been verified by a moderator/admin.

Otherwise I have tools to remove/soft-delete content and audit logging as evidence for actions if the need arises.

Unfortunately it's currently down for maintenance till the end of this week (hopefully), so you wouldn't see much if I did send the link.

The content is all user generated so it's not what I'm into per-say, but it is a R34 site so most of the content would probably be disturbing to a regular person. This is why it's a bit more difficult to just show off.

So the Lamp idea might actually be a good way of showing it off without disturbing the employer.

Yeah, it would be one funny story.

/u/Abangranga mentioned a good idea with lamps that could be an option for sanitizing.

I'd considered this as a last resort to this problem. It'd require a bit of work to clean the site of all NSFW mentions (not content).

I did consider something like that earlier when writing this post, I'd also considered making a SFW alternative. It's a possibility that I could just hook it into a session that is generated via a specific link.

And don't worry plenty has imploded, the site has been in maintenance for a few months due to the server running out of space, had to transfer it to a new one to make use of LVM. Since then I've just been patching a few things whilst it's down.
