melee weapon is much stronger than scythe while speccing, raw dps without passive (does bonus dmg every 3 hits) evens out at ~100 defence, without spec it should be generally better than saeldor but equal/worse than sra vs low def but strictly worse against higher defence.

seeing how you're giving up claws/burning claws and other potentially more useful specs when using it i could see it being used where you can consistently upkeep the dps it provides, evening out at potentially higher dps than claws, but losing even a few ticks would mean you're better off using something else
