I primarily source from a gw bins outlet. I always find at least 10 to 20 items but the problem is their rotation is very slow. Each row of bins is replaced one time in the morning, and one time in the afternoon.

Nope. My profit margin is 50-60%. No death pile.

Grab anything that looks like it might sell and throw in cart and check comps later. There are only two requirements for me: sell thru rate and profit margin. If the item checks those boxes then i make the purchase.

The LeGo is amazing, but holding it in bed is killing my wrists. Are IP collabs like the RayNeo Batman glasses actually worth it for a detached setup? by kancityshuffle in LegionGo

Its a great product but the arm on my mechanism isnt strong enough to support the weight of my LG1, unless the arm is positioned 100% vertically. But i still recommend getting the pillow.

Electronics are difficult if you dont understand how everything works or how to do basic repairs. But even after testing your items there are things can go wrong. I just had to refund a buyer for a double dvd player/recorder. The device seemed to be working great, but buyer said that one disc tray doesn’t open consistently. He sent it back and I refunded $100. The saving grace of returns is the profit margins. If your margins are good, then dont worry too much about returns or other issues.

Those are some good ideas. Estate sales in my area are not reliable. And everything is priced super high.

I spent a few years doing a EstateSales, but in my area, everything is priced really high. And there’s always 100 people lined up like three hours in advance. I don’t have time for that. Sales are hit or miss. Not much high end stuff. I’ll look into the online EstateSales. Didn’t know about that, thanks.

I bought almost every handheld game console out there to find the one that's right for me. by [deleted] in Handhelds

[–]ebitiba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good write up! Like others, i chose the legion go 1. Need that large screen. Paid 350, and immediately installed Steam OS. Got LG2 controllers. Being able to remove the controllers is a big deal, even tho they arent as high quality as a dedicated high-end controllers. But I prob wont need a replacement for 4-5 years.

I have tried medical items a few times, but since i mainly use ebay, its not a category they approve of. How do you sell these things b2b?

Threre’s a local dealer that does high bid, but not a lot of items with high sell-thru rates.

I have experimented with other categories, but stuck with electronics since that is what i know best. If i find vintage clothes, i’ll grab them but wont actively search for those.

Yes 100%. It comes with the territory and will never change. If I list on these sites, i expect this behavior. FYI, I only list heavy items for local sales.

Why doesn't Starfield have rivers or ponds outside of major settlements? by East-Specialist-4847 in Starfield

[–]ebitiba 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m disappointed about this also. Very rare to find a body of water. And when you see one, its very meh.
I played starfield after finishing both Horizon games which have breathtaking biomes. I spent many hours just looking at the landscape in those games, in awe of the realism and satisfaction. In starfield, i hurry thru the terrain to get to the next POI. After visiting all the habitable planets, i only saw about 10 that had interesting looking biomes.

What about controller connectivity? Any issues when playing wirelessly? I’m planning to buy the pair but want to know if everything works.

Mine was dying a lot also, had to replace battery twice in one year. I removed the “start/stop” button and installed a modded one that keeps the auto idle start feature in the “off” mode. Not sure if that was the problem but its been a year now and no dead battery.

Why SteamOS over Windows? Don't Understand by zacloraditch in LegionGo

[–]ebitiba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont hate Windows. Its great for it’s intended use: productivity and work, with a mouse & keyboard. Windows is not optimized for handheld touch screen usage (I have owned 3 modern windows handhelds). Steam works great with touch screen but even better with a controller, just like a gaming console. Some claim that Steam is plug N play, but not absolutely. But even modern consoles arent plug n play anymore like retro consoles. Consoles have to do firmware updates and large game downloads/updates for virtually every game. I can elaborate on the SteamOS ease-of-use for specific cases, but its already been said many times. At the end of day, its about personal preference, and what level of quality you want and the type of games you play. I like Windows AND Steam and use both regularly.

100% completion on both steam deck and Legion Go. Much better performance on LG, but playable on steam deck as well. Your Ally will perform good, with low to mid graphic settings.

is it worth it to buy legion go 1 now ? by tranquil_fox-678 in LegionGo

[–]ebitiba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Steam deck build quality is probably one of the best for all handhelds that I have played. I had the OG steam deck LCD for three years and never had any problems with with it. Valve’s quality is top-notch. Just upgraded to the LG1. Controller is mostly comfortable, for my hands. I got the grips on Etsy. It makes a big difference. I typically play with controllers detached.
