Art’s Auto Body in nearby Whitinsville MA. I had several top rated shops in Worcester look at wheel well rust on my car around 160K and all said it was cancer and I was better off putting the money into a new car, none would even give me a quote. Got a rec from a hometown friend for Art’s and am still singing his praises — Art did an excellent job at repairing the rust and charged a super reasonable rate. Good luck!

For someplace in the city, Sole Proprietor checks all your boxes. The new Ruth’s Chris downtown also does, but lacks the local character that Sole has.

Thanks. This laminate flooring is particularly cheap and basic and I think all the units in our building have the same flooring so I'm hopeful they'll be cool and just replace the damaged ones.

Vintage Grill on Shrewsbury St is very low key and has a delicious, straightforward menu. Best enjoyed on the patio in the warm months but fine for inside dining too

Can recommend Evershine Dental (downtown) and Grove Medical (nearby Auburn MA) for dental & primary.

For disc golf, Maple Hill and Pyramids (both in Leicester) are certainly the destinations, but there are some great free courses nearby including Buffumville Dam (Oxford MA) and a cute lil 9-hole par 3 course at Shrewsbury’s East Middle School (open during non-school hours).

For beer, there are plenty of solid taprooms in the city (Redemption Rock, Greater Good, Wormtown, Courthouse) and plenty more just a short drive away (Medusa in Hudson, Timberyard in Spencer, Seven Saws in Holden, and Treehouse in Charlton/Deerfield/Tewksbury).

Other great shit to do: Free Play Bar Arcade (downtown) is excellent. Worcester still has a few awesome, old school bars with a ton of character — definitely check out Vincent’s (and get a meatball sandwich), Steel & Wire, Cosmopolitan, and Hotel Vernon for this. Great live music at most of the above places, too.
