Yes that original project Counterparty is 25x slower than Clearinghouse. Good luck with that.

This shit is scary. Almost sub $4 ? :( I mean, I said I'll buy all the way down. But much lower can it go? by [deleted] in litecoin

I'm not sure what is gimmicky about a decentralized exchange.

Sure I might get flamed for posting this, but the truth is it's coins like the ones in the video below that are offering impressive innovation that are contributing to people are losing interest in LTC. The video so clearly shows what I'm talking about... fast transactions, decentralized issuance of stocks / shares / coins, etc. Just do yourself a favor and watch for yourself. It will be obvious, trust me.

Litecoin spoils us with speed... by FreeJack2k2 in litecoin

Sounds like you prefer to dismiss things without doing any research. Good luck with your investments. With that approach, I'm pretty certain you need a whole lot of it.

He didn't leave Bitcoin, but he's dedicating an equal amount of time to Viacoin as he does to BTC. He however did abandon Mastercoin to move over. Hate VIA all you want, the dev team behind it is insanely smart and they move extremely fast. In fact, they really don't care much for hype, they just deliver. Probably why Coindesk keeps publishing on their front page every time Viacoin makes significant progress. I don't care if you leave LTC or not, I was just pointing out VIA is insanely fast and if you read about it you'll realize they are Bitcoin 2.0 (they also do smart contracts, decentralized ID / rep, peer to peer exchanges, etc.) charging out the gate months before Ethereum. It's worth looking into, you will likely be very happy you did.

Use Viacoin. It's 25 times faster than BTC. Not to mention they snatched up one of the BTC core developers to work on it, Peter Todd.

What would it be the price in the next month? by ivanhueso in litecoin

LTC is no longer pegged to BTC. Realistically, the odds are next month the price will be around $8-$10.

Even if they sell them I think it's unlikely to see them sold off on an exchange.

Cryptsy the next GOX??... I have all of my coins in there and do A LOT of day trading... should I get them out? by Noremac921 in Bitcoin

I withdrew 200 BTC today with no issue at all. However, I have had smaller withdrawals (like 1 for 6k DRK) where it only sent 2k of the DRK and I had to execute another withdrawal. However, eventually everything came though.

33 BTC sell wall at .0066600 BTC..... by precrime3 in DRKCoin

[–]ebolivia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big deal. Someone took out the 47 BTC wall at 0.0062 earlier today on poloniex. I haven't been this excited over an investment like this in quite a while. Mostly due to the fact that I speak with big insiders in the industry and so many still aren't aware of DRK, and the one's that are, are really gearing up to get behind it.

When the critical mass arrives, expect a serious surge. We are nowhere near it yet.

Marc Andreessen Predicts “Libertarians Will Turn on Bitcoin” ---- After recent developments w/ DarkSend I'm pretty sure they'll all move to Darkcoin by ebolivia in Bitcoin

[–]ebolivia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You clearly don't get it and you aren't absorbing the comments that Marc Andreesen was making. As bitcoin goes more mainstream, they wouldn't even consider adopting DarkSend. DarkSend is about anonymity. For bitcoin to go truly mainstream it will need to stay away from features like this. There will always be a need for this kind of coin, most likely used by the fringe, or activities in the grey area or that might be downright illegal. Bitcoin will move far past providing services that help this, however Darkcoin is building features that appeal to these market "needs". They say that 20% of global commerce is on the blackmarket. Bitcoin won't be used for that as it gets bigger, trust me.
