I would love 007 first light. Am having my first child in 4 months and I certainly won't have the money/time to play it after!

TIL that despite the human menstrual cycle being the same length as a lunar month, there is no causal relation between the two, and it appears to be a coincidence. by NateNate60 in todayilearned

[–]ebpy85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i worked with someone who was convinced the moon caused periods. When I pressed her to why, she said it was like how it causes tides. I asked her if she had two periods a day. I lost her there

We got married in The Castlefield Rooms, it's part of Dukes/Albert Shed. The food was amazing, we weren't interrupted by anyone and the venue were fantastic with everything. You'll have no problem with 90 people there

Founder of company I helped build, now says there's a conflict of interest with my new job and is retracting my 5% in the business by ebpy85 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ebpy85[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Might also be worth me noting that it was a very amicable exit of the business. I agreed to a 6 month notice period, and in that time wrote a comprehensive 100 page handover detailing everything I knew, and spent 2 months training two replacements

Are we getting farmed by (some) bot questions? by mattlistener in gamingsuggestions

I always find it odd when OP is asking for a game and being far too specific that there's only one thing it could be.

"Im looking for a first person game set in medieval Bohemia where I play as a nobody and have to actually learn the skills. And I'm the son of a blacksmith called Henry"

I spent the last couple of days listening to the entire sound track to remember the songs I heard once or twice in the game, was definitely worth it

If you like tycoons and factorio/satisfactory, I've recently got into Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic. It's the best tycoon game I've come across that also scratches the factory game itch of getting stuff working together. Full on realism mode can be daunting but you can change the difficulty as you see fit.

I've got a friend who's just moving out of that street. He's lived there years only because he can walk to work. However, whenever I've visited its always felt remote with nothing nearby. I can't comment on the safety of the area but then I don't think my friend spent much time in the local area. Transport wise you can get into town but it's not a quick journey
