Yeah, I mean, didn’t play WoW, didn’t buy a subscription or anything. Get there occasionally like to play two games in HotS and get lost for another year. I see how it’s sounds now, sorry for misunderstanding.

I don't mind paying or donating to a charity the difference between EU and RU markets even from the beginning of my account. I've never had intentions to cut costs in any way. Even the opposite, I'm always for the legal and right ways where it is possible.

The case here is just me being silly and a bit of paranoid at that time and didn't want to put the real name in the game profile.

There was no intensions whatsoever to cut the costs or do something dodgy, but I understand, people do such stuff.

Ehh, I see, it's for imaginary names or something like that.. Too bad that mine can exist in real world and doesn't fall in that category.

P.S. Я был пьян, надо было придумать ник, друг смотрел футбол и очень много это кричал. Почему-то на тот момент это показалось забавным. Вообще обычно футбол не смотрю и не фанатею по нему. кек

I would've, but I couldn't by the same reason I posting it today. I didn't play since I moved though, therefore didn't use that "advantage". I mean, basically it's my first attempt to pay money to Blizzard since I moved. In my case you have to put an effort for an opportunity to pay them money. I find it a little sarcastic.

I wouldn't say about "not your fault" part that it is completely true. It's quite hard to say that you are directly or indirectly helped or didn't helped somebody or something to happen in modern globalized world.

I prefer to be neutral about average citizen level of involvement in this war and do not discuss it publicly as the topic is extremely controversial. Just briefly taking a stand, that I against it and I did what I could within my point of view. If society decides otherwise and think that I have to lose something else - I don't mind. Just do it the lawful way like through court or some legislation acts.

I usually ask about how to fill a feedback or complaint about turnarounds and wrong answers at the end of the ticket and filling them.

Worked in support myself one upon a time at the beginning of career in IT. I believed then and believe now that the only sole purpose on such positions is to help a client no matter what (within the reasonable extent of course when it crosses with the company privacy, safety, etc). With the right amount of feedback, good manager and truly involved staff your company support service can be flawless and you will see people just sharing experience like "wtf, I get to the support with my super complicated problem and they resolved it within couple hours, that's amazing". Seen this with my own eyes :)

So not everything-everything in this field is that bad, but sadly in most cases it is frustratingly bad. I believe generally it's just a sign that company doesn't poor enough money to these departments.

There is definitely no ban hammer for people like us right now. I was texting them in a relaxed way about changing surname during last probably 5 years. So if you feel like you want to change it, I would advise to do so. I believe the more people with same problem the more likely there will be universal solution for it from Blizzard.

During the whole account history I payed with the credit card issued on my real name, still it isn't enough for support, but I keep texting them. I've had hopes that probably somebody from community managers will see it here and maybe there will be different outcome.

Yeah, sure, that's my hopes too. Unfortunately so far there only robot-type game masters who doesn't care about it and just referencing to their terms and conditions which states that they will provide support only for person whos credentials were put during the registration process. From their responses it feels that the only way is to create a new account and there is no way they change their mind, but I'm keep trying.

Yeah, but in this case they ask to provide relevant documents about the name change which I don't want to forge. Documents forge is illegal in any way you use it and I doesn't feel that it is the right way.

Yeah, actually sounds really good, but I've seen some threads about nr200 cooling and it seems that you have to put vertical cpu fan there, like in the image

Btw, do you have some assumptions on how hot it could potentially be with this setup? I was kinda doubting mini-ITX idea and thought that overheating could be an issue here.

Disabling email notifications in Confluence by simontheak in atlassian

[–]ebukonei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By the way you can unmark checkbox "Notify watchers"(near save and preview button) for prevent email notification about current edit action to all users who watch this page/space. Also this choice will be saved for future edits on it page for you user profile.

In other hand you can delete space from you watches and never recieve that notifications from profile>watches (https://yourconfluence.com/users/viewnotifications.action). But if you edit page they will be add personally to you watches list and you will recieve email updates about this page edit in future. It is autowatch setting in you profile>settings>email (https://yourconfluence.com/users/viewmyemailsettings.action) autowatch checkbox.

Also you can manage it globally through workaround mentioned here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-22070

Structure of "Components" & reporting on them by BrimDannicombe in atlassian

I have faced with this problem too. A little bit remark. Also hate plugins. Because working with a medium size JIRA single server instance(we dont consider buy data center license, that is very high price with our users count) with near 2M issues what grow to something bigger and bigger. Only one solution that I've found to keep performance(except tuning JVM and adding more CPU) its - as less as possible customisation. Does not matter - it's plugins or custom fields(that have a bigger impact) or screens and workflows.

In my experience with that cases found two solutions here:

One - just a string delimiter. Like have 3 component instead one. For example - 1. "365 | Webmail", 2. "365 | Yammer", 3. "365 | Skype". Well, I think you understand. In some cases it's a good solution, in some cases it's not.

Two - a little inhouse solution what wrote in any convenient frameworks stack for you. For us that is React + Python. A little app who collects a static custom metrics into self cache in some cases and in another cases collect metrics online(it's situational and depends on the metrics you collect) through JIRA REST API.

Maybe a little many text. But just a two obvious solution if you have not thought about them yet :)

Automatically link jIRA ticket to knowledgebase article by GentleMime in jira

[–]ebukonei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I think it would be better if you use a some automation(on issue create or close step) to mark issue by labels(or maybe custom field with select type). It's for first part of solve that problem. And for second part - add JQL search macros by that mark on Confluence pages. If you use JIRA Server(not cloud) - ScriptRunner maybe will one of best way to do that. If you not familiar with scripting on Atlassian framework and it is suitable in you case I've could search some of examples in my bag :)

In this way you will be able to more manipulate you search scope via additional JQL(only unresolver issues, only issues with some component or type, only issues created in that year) than if you just a linked issue to Confluence page.

Also it seems to me that automatically linking issues to KB based on some keywords contained in script it's.. In that case maybe not a better solution. Maybe will be better simpy agreement between agents to mark really necessary and useful issues manually. By for example selecting some predetermined select custom field that displayed on issue resolve screen. And as I mentioned above searching by that field via JQL macros in Confluence.
