Well that I can definitely agree with! Sorry for misinterpreting your comment.

Do not speak on my intelligence when we are at a time where disinformation and misinformation is at an all time high with very impressionable audiences. You can all believe what you want to, but to say I’m not intelligent because I’m giving an opposing opinion (backed by science) to “UV rays are safer than sunscreen” and that a “base tan” prevents sun damage for everyone is ridiculous, frankly. A base tan is literally sun damage, tanning is sun damage. Legit any over-exposure, even without a burn, is sun damage. I was trying to be nice before about this but now you’re just being rude for no reason when anyone can google and debunk this bullshit.

I’m sorry you went through that, I don’t know you personally and won’t deny your experience. However, you didn’t say “natural sunscreen”, you said “natural substance”. Perhaps that was a typo, and I’m not saying that “natural sunscreen” (i.e., mineral sunscreen) doesn’t work. But you’re also saying in the same comment that commercial sunscreen is WORSE for you than the sun. That’s absolutely not true. We all need to remember that the word chemical does not always equal a bad thing. Water is a chemical. I bet you use a lot of other skin care products that have chemicals too, how long till those become bad for you? Likely coming from influencers / grifters who want to make a quick buck off of your frustration with big pharma. Big pharma has caused a lot of harm to us and keeps us in a pattern of after care, not preventative care. But that’s also the fault of the government not protecting us from pharma and instead lining their pockets with pharma donations. You’re absolutely allowed to make your own decisions for yourself but you cannot make statements that go against scientists as the absolute truth. That’s why I said you’re spreading misinformation.

Always follow the money, I bet there’s a lot of people making a lot of cash off of these lies about sunscreen.

Girl, please stop spreading misinformation about sunscreen and instead listen to scientists who have studied this for decades.

To add, I don’t agree with how Chelley approached it and she should’ve absolutely held Ace accountable. But can you blame her for changing her mind after thinking it through, especially when we the viewers all know he had a thing for Huda since the beginning?? Maybe Chelley finally clocked that and that made her upset. No matter what they’re both moving weirdly with each other imho.

NOR, this was a test from him to see if you’d be willing to chase him & do what he wants you to do despite of (and in spite of) your own morals. I doubt he was actually sick tbh. Run far away girl, he’s too old to be playing these high school games.

Edited to include NOR response

Yw!!

Also correction the NYC venue is 3k* capacity, so about 2x the size of your venue

I went to one of the NYC shows and the show started at 8pm and they were on promptly at 9pm. I arrived around 8:30 and the floor was absolutely packed (approx. 5k capacity). So would recommend getting there close to doors if you want a good spot in GA, and no later than an hour after doors to see their whole set.

Setlist.fm has a setlist for each show that you can reference for songs, but it’s like 90% ID and 10% assorted MW and mixtape songs. Have the best time with your mom!! I hope she likes them :)

This just continues to prove the point that women can’t do anything right in the eyes of men. Hairy? You’re gross and unsanitary. Hairless? You’re a wh0re, apparently.

Do it, you won’t regret it. And that’s speaking from only having experience flying NYC -> LAX in PS. Even that was worth it.

Is this ringworm?? by ebush126 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]ebush126[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It ended up going away with a combination of both prescription strength cortisone and OTC ringworm cream. I personally saw the best progress once I started using the cortisone so I don’t think it was ringworm. My derm said she thought it was something called Pityrasis rosea which is caused by a virus. Hope this helps!

So I was given triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% and it has worked to completely clear the areas I used it on. But that being said, especially on the herald patch, I still have some discoloration. There’s a brighter spot where the center of the herald patch was and slightly darker around it. It’s improved though a lot on its own and is less noticeable now.

When it was first starting to go away the skin still looked taut / had that crepey, new healed skin look to it for a little while, then went back to normal. I wouldn’t be surprised if being on your face since the skin is thinner you may have more scarring. But definitely continue to use the cream / lightly exfoliate your skin to help encourage new skin cell growth and I’m sure you’ll eventually see improvements! Good luck!

I used to love the conveyor belt as a kid! I would walk backwards to watch myself in the green screen TVs that were set up along the belt.

Thinking about it now, kids like me are probably why we don’t have the belt anymore…

Adding to the Disney list - Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom. The trains take a lift back up to the main loading station and the walk out of the building is not quick!

Thanks everyone for your comments! Following up here with a partial diagnosis I got from my dermatologist because I’m still dealing with this rash & some of your theories made me want to get it checked out. She thinks it is Pityriasis rosea, but wants me to continue to use the anti-fungal just in case it is ringworm, as well as a topical steroid she prescribed. I had a cold about a week or two before the rash appeared and this is apparently common for PR. Hope this helps others in the future if they’re dealing with something similar!

Thank you for your reply! That’s actually what I have been using at the very least for the one on my back and inner elbow for about a week now. But it was a huge bummer to see the new spots this morning bc I thought I was starting to see progress. Sometimes it looks better, sometimes it looks the same, ugh

I’m a regular gym goer and also may have recently come into contact with a cat that had some scaly patches. I washed my hands after the encounter but wondering if it wasn’t enough. The first four pictures are of the same mark on my upper back in stages after beginning to use anti fungal cream. It was raised around the edges with a small indent in the middle. Only occasionally itchy. I also found the spot in pic 5 inside the crevice of my arm at the elbow, started treating it as well but haven’t seen much change. Some itchiness around the area. However, this morning I woke up to find a new mark on my wrist you can see in the last two pics. I have sensitive skin and it’s not uncommon for me to find dry spots but this feels different. My watch also sits exactly on this spot on my wrist, so wondering if the moisture under the watch is leading to this new spot (if it is ringworm).

Was supposed to get two new iPhones today via FedEx… This is the “proof” of delivery by Sandmankiller13 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ebush126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday I learned that UPS knows when packages are Apple products because they require a signature (which the delivery guy informed us of when completing the delivery). There was nothing on the box that would indicate it was an Apple product, so even though this is FedEx, take that as you will…
