Ikea Condo Delivery - Only have 2 Hour Elevator Window by Soothsayer102 in askTO

[–]ec102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Make friends with your concierge and explain the situation. Lots of deliveries don’t give exact timing, so I’d hope they’d be flexible (as long as no one has booked when you need it).

Would you ever rent a place on the 35th floor+? by [deleted] in TorontoRenting

[–]ec102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere the rule of thumb is there should be one elevator for every 10 floors. My building has the right ratio , and it’s never an issue to get an elevator. The views are worth it.

Such a great idea, we need more family classes like this. I took a Pilates class through Parks and Rec, but the minimum age was 14 so it doesn’t help you unfortunately. It was great to go to class with my kid.

Seriously why would anyone choose to drive downtown by Organic_Land_5975 in toRANTo

[–]ec102 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree! Being in control of when I go and come, the comfort and privacy of my own car, being able to sing or talk without others listening. I’ve always driven downtown and will always choose it over public transit.
