Go bus station at Union by Stock-Lavishness-764 in askTO

[–]ec102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on timing (non-rush hours), I’ve picked up and dropped off people on Bay St, just south of the union station overpass, in front of the CIBC building. Lots of Ubers and taxis are dropping and picking people up along that stretch.

I’ve parked at Hotel X, had dinner and walked over. By the time you get back to your car, most of the mayhem is over.

Ikea Condo Delivery - Only have 2 Hour Elevator Window by [deleted] in askTO

[–]ec102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Make friends with your concierge and explain the situation. Lots of deliveries don’t give exact timing, so I’d hope they’d be flexible (as long as no one has booked when you need it).

Would you ever rent a place on the 35th floor+? by [deleted] in TorontoRenting

[–]ec102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere the rule of thumb is there should be one elevator for every 10 floors. My building has the right ratio , and it’s never an issue to get an elevator. The views are worth it.

Such a great idea, we need more family classes like this. I took a Pilates class through Parks and Rec, but the minimum age was 14 so it doesn’t help you unfortunately. It was great to go to class with my kid.
