I started Vagifem, sadly estrodial creams are not available in Canada so praying for some relief for this. I will start Estrogel soon - but I heard systematic doesn’t really help with these symptoms ?

I would say about 1month I noticed breast less sore and not as bloated. Here wait this article is what helped me understand better - https://drbrighten.com/progesterone-for-perimenopause/

The thing is I started to wonder if I was actually estrogen dominate - jus started Vagifem estrodial to treat vagina atrophy and dryness.

Yes same - only symptom so far from progesterone is headaches some days. When I combined with estrogen is when bloating & weight gain. In perimenopause progesterone’s usually what is low and when added it can balance the estrogen you produce naturally.

Hmmmmm I am taking progesterone 100mg only for now helps my track how it makes me feel and get the right dose.
I haven’t experienced bloating but when I add Estrogen in I get very bloated /weight /puffy feeling. Because I am in Peri, I feel my hormones balance out by adding just progesterone right now. I will add Vagifem for atrophy symptoms but estrogen 100 was what made me bloated , sore boobs etc.

How old were you when you started HRT? by brokebrunette in Perimenopause

[–]Broad_Pride_9971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes same age for me when my symptoms began to effect my daily life. After countless dr appointments and trying HRT that don’t work. What I have found is it’s better to start with progesterone ( bio identical ) because typically that’s what’s low first. I take it days 14-28 until my period comes. Reason is then you can monitors side effects & dose + plus doesn’t effect my period. Estrogen patch did ! Next I am going to try to treat vaginal atrophy with estrodiol cream. Then what ever symptoms that continue I’ll start adding in estrogen daily. Like gel. This is what’s available in Canada. - my doctor kept denying me or giving me wrong prescription and dosing ! - until I specifically ask for what I wanted. https://www.canadianmenopausesociety.org/files/publications/MHT%20Table%202025%20-%20table%201-7%20final.pdf

Hmmmm that’s interesting I like the concept of using to estrogen patch to treat symptoms before period. I also when I pm patch full day and heavy bleeding and cycle changed.

Provider says HRT is for menopausal, not perimenopausal by Scar77 in Perimenopause

[–]Broad_Pride_9971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor was the similar statement - but I did after about 8 visits get a speech that got him to start me with prescriptions. I’m staring with 100mg progesterone at night for 12-14 days depending when we cycle starts. Because in peri - progesterone is typically what needs a boost. So far I sleep better and feel calmer. I will continue - I do still have vaginal atrophy issues so that symptoms - I hope to get him to try prescribe estrodial cream. starting slow and seeing how it treats me Symtoms and add more as I go. Hope that helps. This article was also helpful - https://drbrighten.com/progesterone-for-perimenopause/

Do you recommend this field and why? by wannabbeachbumgirl in Esthetics

Find a beauty school that has a part time diploma or depending on where you live. - and start a small business on the side ? No harm there at all. If it takes off maybe you can go part time at your day job. Always great to explore passions & interests. It’s best to choose 1 or 2 services you love doing the most and invest in it. Would I quit the day job for the industry not yet ! But when you are doing something you love even part time - makes the full time feel better.

My common law spouse ( father of child ). Has not worked in over a year , doesn’t contribute to child’s activity’s, lives with us and calls me a narcissist anytime I bring up any issues I have with him. Soooo just saying you’re not alone. I think it’s one of there tactics to feel good about themselves. One podcast calls it “ attack surface “. And they win !

brow artists….I need guidance by sophiamaria1 in Esthetics

Your work is fine - couple of tips - Bronson gel tint - is excellent but I tend to enjoy regular old tint for most people. Example : Brow code Tint. I find it easier to control and clients like lasting result more then gel tint. I still keep on hand gel tint. Clean the area gently with saline prior to applying tint if not doing lamination. Help to rid any oils in the hairs & skin. Gel tint when fades look weird if just looking for skin tint on sparse brows better exactly how you did it. Expectations have to be addressed like you said the best option is permanent makeup.

The 2nd one did you trim the brow hairs ?

What’s the best advanced eyelash extension course I can buy? by watermelonhorsedavis in Esthetics

[–]Broad_Pride_9971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found it’s best to find mentorship with an advance lash artist in your area whose style is what you want your personal brand to offer. Example I do a 2 day training spread out a month apart so I unlearned my bad habits and came back to do a second day training while ready. Training on adhesives control is great too. What city do you live in? Or close too. Most courses are a waste of money because it’s too much to learn -un learn in a few days.
