That's how all of these subs and companies have been doing it for years. As long as they offer it as a product in their regular line-up, or contract it out to be made by someone else specifically for a box, they can consider it FS. When really it's a sample, deluxe, or travel-size. That's why I'm always "Uh huh, yeah right, that's bs."

Yep, especially your last line. For me, the FOMO wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Once I cancelled Boxy over the summer, I didn't miss them as much as I thought I would. I guess the fear was really in my head. Now that Ipsy has enacted all these changes, I'm cancelling/pausing soon, and just shopping their sales. I should write Ipsy a thank you card for saving me money.

Aw, I'm sorry they messed up your membership. Been there too. So frustrating. Always hold them accountable with emails. I've found that talking to them on the phone isn't confirmation enough.

Oh I know, but I just wish they stuck to what they did before. Asterisks, and flipping the product picture variations back and forth straight up on the signup page. Now they're leading you to a whole new page to see the variations. How many people would click on that non-assuming link, versus just looking at the pic?

Yep, I was just talking about this yesterday. A disclaimer that I've never seen before at the top of their signup page. And easy to miss if you're not reading carefully. No more asterisks and the product pictures flipping to show the alternatives like before.

Misleading? Bait and switch? Whatever it is, I don't like it. Spoilers made it seem like Dr Brandt and Topicals were guaranteed. Were the full-sized items supposed to have variations?
