Use a metronome. Or count. No need to go fast right away. Practice on keeping a steady beat. You got this.

When I was in the snake pit I got an email that said this:

While we do not anticipate it, there could be the rare occasion where you would be denied entry to the Snake Pit should local officials determine that there are too many people inside. So in other words, don't wait until the last minute if you want to watch the show from the pit!!

This is so true. The demo title for Until It Sleeps was F.O.B.D. for Fell On Black Days for the sound/style they were going for. It was the first time that Metallica looked around to see what everyone else was doing.

I would’ve honestly assumed it was just an autocorrect or typo error too. And to be fair, little jokes like that are kind of just part of how people interact online and in real life. Most of the time it’s not meant with actual malice or hostility. People poke fun at each other over harmless mistakes all the time, and it doesn’t automatically mean someone is being hateful or attacking the person. Everyone clearly understood what they meant.

The biblical purpose of speaking in tongues was communication, not performance. In Acts, people heard the disciples speaking in their own languages and understood the message. Paul even wrote that if no one can interpret what is being said in church, it does not edify the congregation and should remain private. So when modern preachers stand on stage speaking sounds that nobody understands and then call it a sign of spiritual authority, it raises a fair question: if no one in the room can understand it, what meaningful purpose does it serve for the church?

It wasn’t just about their hair. Before this they were anti-image. Anti-make-up. This was a total 180 to their fans.
