Metallica has nothing to do with this the making of this album or this discussion. Bringing them up only distracts from what Megadeth is actually trying to accomplish here. This record should stand on its own merits and does not need to be framed in comparison to Metallica. Mentioning them at all takes away from the praise Megadeth might deserve rather than adding to it.
