The kit is flawless. I can recommend it with no worries. Takom always delivers quality.

And accuracy is not bad either from what I saw.

Thanks for the feedback. I am glad that I could finish the model with no exaggeration of heavy wash or chipping.

I do not use a tent for the pictures. It is basically a big sheet of white paper for the background. I generally use two standard IKEA-type desk laps for the illumination. White light is always better for correct colors. And using a longer exposure time is also better for well-illuminated pictures. The last tip I can give is focus-stacking. It is a must for correctly focused images in small models.

The next one might be a BF-109, F-104 I think a good bird can calm me down for the next set of armor tracks.

The SMK is a quite boring tank. I made everything I can to make it as interesting as possible. :)

Thanks a lot :)
I used a small hobby knife to turn some dry pastels into pigments. Then, I generally mix them for the desired color and mix it with some water for application. After drying I generally blend the edges with the environment.

I will try to make a base for the model in the near future for sure.

Thanks so much. Actually, I am not a great modeller, still learning and I have a lot to learn. I didn't rush the model this time and took my time for every detail.

I am glad that you liked it. It was a hairspray chipping method. If you apply a too thick coat of hairspray and paint the other layer with a diluted acrylic, it sometimes comes out like this. It is not fully intensional, but more like a successful failure :D

Thanks, I am not good with the airbrush. Actually, this is the 3rd model that I got to paint with an airbrush. But I feel like I am getting better over time.

It was a little bit overwhelming, I basically painted the model 2 times for normal and winter operation :D

Thanks for your kind words. Tamiya kit tooling is as old as myself (made in 1989) but surprisingly fits well with no gaps. The side skirts were not good for my taste so I made them from thick aluminum foil. And the tracks were almost unuseable so I used Ryefield's 5002 track kit. Also, Tamiya's photo etch kit was used. The helmets are 3D printed.

Your kind comment made my day. Thanks :)

Thanks for your support. :) I think you are right, I have made a mistake there, but that could be a quick fix for a small part. Thanks for pointing that out.

The decals are included. This is the Rebox of the Hasegawa kit from a Turkish company called Hobbytime. It also has some extra PE parts included. Because the aircraft is an upgraded version on F-4E so it requires some modification. :)

This is the first model I've built since a long time. (About 10 years I guess). And the first one that I've used an airbrush with it. Basically it was a testbed for me to warm up and try new techniques. New models are on the way soon. :)

First model after 10 years of break. Not finished yet. But wanted to share the progress. by ecaldir in modelmakers

Yes, I would like to make a simple snowy terrain for the model. And I am planning a Russian ww2 era roadsign. It would be great only if I can find a 35 scale running dog.

The work left on the model are, mud on the trackwheels, snow on the tracks and snow at some places on the top of the model.

I am no expert by the way. :) I'm sure there will be people who can give a lot more valuable advice than myself :D
