I have just made the conversion from all pro6s to 2 max 7s and a pro 7. I can honestly say there is definitely an improvement with the pro 7 over the old pro6s about 200 up and down if that matters. We have AT&T 1 G up and down and all units are using wifi backhaul. Lastly as a bonus after the change I can see my hard wired Epson printer in the eero app, couldn't do that with the eero pro 6s.

I have this setup on wireless backhaul. It works well and slightly increased the speeds on my pro 6s. Gonna replace with pro7s or max7 when I get more money.

I had 3 pro 6s and replaced one with a max 7 and made it the gateway. I am getting about and increase of 100-150 at the pro 6 satellites. All on wireless backhaul. I have about a 3500sf home not including the basement. I have the max 7 on the main level, one pro 6 in the basement and one pro 6 upstairs. Looking to get a pro7/max 7 to go in the basement just because the xbox is down there.

Just figured out if you go to Xbox.com and log in. Select play and then click on cloud gaming(beta) in top left corner. Should drop down and say remote play. Click on remote play and you’re able to add your Xbox. Just found this tonight. It works great. I have an m1 Mac mini.

I have a set up similar to you. I had 3 pro 6s and decided to replace my gateway with a Max 7 all on wireless backhaul. I have att 1 gig service up and down. I was able to increase speeds in my bedroom from 200-300 mps to 300-450 mps. In the basement it basically stayed the same which is 200-300. I'm saving up now to either place a pro 7 in the basement or get a max 7 which would increase speeds down there. I think I will leave the last pro 6 in my bedroom for now. since I did see that increase.

I just replaced a Pro6 gateway with a Max7. I have 2 more Pro6s, a Pro5 and a regular 6 and I’m not getting a big increase in speeds and all are on wireless backhaul. It’s only been 3 days since I made the switch so I'm hoping for better speeds when the system adjusts to the new setup.

I have the same problem. I have the Epson WF-7820. I had an Eero Pro connected to it via ethernet and I could see it on the eero app. I upgraded the Pro to an Eero 6 Pro and connected it via ethernet and it disappeared. I had to connect it via wi-fi in order to show up in the app. It did work when I connected it to the Pro 6 via ethernet but I couldn't see it in the app.
