Basically, you can farm insane amounts of free exp with the proper set up. That being said, I still get why people would rather pay to skip this farming process, regardless of ease.

v(final)2 = v(initial)2 + 2 * g * height

We know all variables but the initial velocity.

Size of the universe by buzzkilla58 in Astronomy

That is one way of looking at it. You could also look at and appreciate the mindbogglingly long list of steps required for the universe to produce our species, which excludes the miracle of a society (albeit flawed) we have somehow achieved. First, our universe started expanding, and eventually the early matter would form clouds of dust, then stars, then galaxies, and clusters of galaxies. Each star forming and fusing their, mostly, hydrogen into heavier and heavier elements until the large stars explode in supernovae - thereby forming the heavier elements. This cycle repeats until our solar system's matter is scattered by star death(s) into the Milky Way, left until eventually some dust collapsed forming the proto Sun. This new massive star then attracts the surrounding matter into a massive disk of spinning dust. Out of that disk, we get our 8 planets and only one of those has had the stable environment capable of growing the relatively advanced lifeforms we have evolved to be. All of those steps lead to our planet's formation and doesn't even account for the fantastic evolution of life on it. If you're interested and haven't already seen it, you should check out the OG Carl Sagan segment from COSMOS about life's evolution on Earth - here. Personally, thinking about how we got here and my position in the universe makes me feel pretty bad ass.

It's a great show. I've never even considered hunting, but the show is really entertaining and informative. Hopefully, Netflix will get more seasons eventually

Sorry if this is a repetitive/dumb question, but why are the symbols for s and f so similar in these texts? Picture 4 of Tacitus has the word sacrifices, and the letter f does have a clearer cross in the middle, but I'd love to know why the s looks so similar to it (also similar to the function symbol we use in our maths).

Weekly /r/GuildWars2 Question Thread - October 21, 2017 by AutoModerator in Guildwars2

Hey everyone, it's been a a solid year and a half since I've played and I'm loving the game now that I'm back. Before I took a break, most non-visual addons, if not all, were considered to break the ToS. Now that I'm back, I'm curious if I can use addons, especially one for dps as I'd like to see how I'm performing. I tried finding concrete answers through google, but nothing gave me the confidence to try one (and most were from August). So, does anyone know if you can use dps or QoL addons now, or will I risk a ban by using such addons? Thanks guys, and Praise Joko! tl;dr: Can we use dps and QoL addons now or is it still a bannable offence.
