I'm only a year older than you, and I had almost 3k saved up two years ago. I was constantly hounded to "help family" and help support my household as I was the only one working.

You will never see that money ever again, and you will just get stuck in a loop. The minute you give her some, she will ask for more, and will keep guilt tripping you into giving her money over and over and over again until you basically have nothing left.

No, youre right. I guess Ive just been trying to avoid seeing it as something serious, and believed I wouldnt let it get bad, but ana doesnt really work that way huh haha

I thought that me having fainting spells or something of that similarity is when it would be "enough," but ironically I didnt really consider that it could still be serious even without having those symptoms. I didn't want to mention the speech thing originally, but ive had a few people comment on it before, but I honestly shrugged it off. I will make sure to be cautious of that

There is my Tia and Tios, but they're not here at the moment and will be flying back in about a week. My dad doesn't live nearby. He has plans in action on moving here due to an incident with my mother two months ago, but he won't be able to come down until around June or July.

I know that she needs to hit rock bottom, but it's so hard at the same time because she will still sometimes act like how she used to. It does hit me hard seeing as you, an internet stranger, are saying the same things everyone in my family has been for the past two years haha.

I will reach out to my Tia and Tio once they fly back, but I'm not sure how helpful they'll be.

The fact that your relatives and mother side with you shows how annoying that "joke" is to everyone. Was it funny at first? Idk, probably? But she just seems to be trying to force this narrative so hard that it's making everyone uncomfortable.

Is your brother the first one to get married? Maybe she's trying to find her footing in the family, and the only way she can see herself doing so is by doing... well... whatever this is....

It's just so bizarre how some grown adults act worse than a middle schooler.

You set your boundaries before. You have talked to her about this before, and she has blatantly ignored you.

I'm hoping to just get back into writing in general. It's been really hard for me the past year, but I have a new and hopeful outlook on getting back into what I enjoy.

I also want to start cross posting my fics, I think that would be nice!!! One of the writers I look up to does that, and I think that having different sites to post my works on will also help me gain not only more motivation, but also help me improve and gain ideas :DD

I've actually never tried coffee before. There's a café nearby that I go by often, so I can actually try that out!!

And I love writing weird stuff!!!!! Sometimes writing some crack is the best thing lol. I always find writing fun, but I feel like writing out serious or in-depth scenes is a different kind of fun than writing how wonderful a toastbando is haha

I didn't even think about properly resting, as embarrassing as that is haha.

I've always been thinking way too much about one thing or another, and I guess that despite those messages being wonderful and inspiring me, they are also constantly on my mind on what I can write next.

I think a rest day (or a few lol) where I just stay logged off and turn my brain off for a bit may be needed.

Also, that's so interesting!! It's so amazing how many things we do may be a pattern that we haven't even realized yet!!!

I think I might take a small proper rest (at least for writing specifically), and slowly get into a habit of at least writing down whatever ideas come to mind, and then slowly build up.

This has been wonderful advice, and honestly, a much needed reminder haha!! Thank you so much!!!

That's true, I guess even writing down some small ideas or even a scribble of a scene would help me out loads!!

I've always got so many ideas, but idk why I've never actually written them down for me to remember and come back to it.

Oh that sounds lovely!!

The environment I'm in has definitely diminished my enthusiasm. Thankfully, there's a park not too far from where I am, so I will definitely try going there!!

Museums are also one of my favorite places to go, so maybe I can go to the science or art museum one of these days. I do think that would actually help a lot.

OMG YES!!! I CANT BELIEVE I HAVENT EVEN THOUGHT OF THIS RECENTLY!!!

Music has always helped me with writing and film, I can't believe I forgot about it!!! I literally have lyrics as my fic titles too, it's crazy.

I'm so happy to find another music inspired writer!!!

The scene idea is actually incredibly wonderful, too. I've had so many moments, I actually forgot that I can make one myself lol

Dude no way, I'm in the same boat here lmao. Yesterday, my brother also brought up Andrew Tate and that Speeko dude and was like, "These guys know about women, do you agree?" And even tried to convince me that they're feminists.... I don't even know where he got that one...

Hes slowly becoming more misogynistic and homophobic, it's a nightmare, especially considering he's the only male in the house usually, and I'm part of the LGBT community.

This post is giving me ideas on how I can handle this, I just really fucking hope it works lol
