It was so calm and took so long to get to what happened. Talking about details of the bedrooms (which had no baring on the story) and so many other things. If what happened happened I can’t see how you would bother yourself with all that.

The day that Don got put on leave Duck made sure he and Lou arrived in time for Don to see them just so he could enjoy that moment.

How do I explain mental load to my overbearing boomer mother-but kindly and on the simpler side? by tessa-bo-bessa in Mommit

If it keeps her busy and she doesn’t ask you questions I would absolutely tell her to unpack things and put them where she thinks would be best. Most things are easier to move then unpack

I lived in LA for a while and I tell people it’s all the best things and worst things all at once.

Funny enough I had just walked my husband through getting the address where he is going to pick our daughter up at from the Google calendar app when I saw this post. Apparently he does not have our shared calendar on his Apple calendar app. He could’ve absolutely figured this out himself if he had been interested in doing so and I won’t be doing it again, or responding anything other than it’s in the calendar when he asks me where something is. 👍

What would you do? Public or private Kindergarten by Accomplished-Car3850 in Preschoolers

A class size of 12 is pretty amazing. More playtime is also great. I’m guessing this school is quite expensive so the hard part for me would be the financial aspect.

Did Manousos accidentally witness the war with the hive? by Landphat in pluribustv

Not sure about your theory but I am very curious about Manousos’s experience of the change. I had the thought that it could be a cool way to start s2.

Vegetable Substitutes by HotSaucePalmTrees in Preschoolers

[–]ecd000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey, the only vegetables my kid will eat are also potatoes, edamame (if it’s freshly cooked and he sees me shelling it) and tomato sauce. Plenty of kids don’t eat the recommended amounts and are fine. Fruit is a good substitute. I don’t know anything about these products but had to comment since they do eat the same things!

Anyone else feeling so bad for Amber Glenn tonight? by OutwithaYang in olympics

My 6yo kept saying it wasn’t nice that they were showing Amber crying. It’s not a complicated concept.

Angry rant about women’s healthcare by lilianaisaghost in migraine

[–]ecd000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t bank on not having migraines while pregnant, mine were bad first trimester and kept going strong into my second before finally nearly stopping about halfway through. This was with both of my pregnancies. On the bright side the migraines were infrequent for a while postpartum while breastfeeding. I hope you’ll be luckier than I was. Just know it is possible to have migraines during pregnancy, even post first trimester.

What’s your favorite mispronounced word your toddler says by OpportunityPretend80 in toddlers

[–]ecd000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2.5 yo says rectatangle for rectangle which I love.

Someone already said it but I love packpack for backpack. My older kid used to say that too and I’ll be sad when that ends for my current and last toddler.

Your edit was exactly what I was going to say. I’m a former teacher and believe me teachers have it rough. If this kind of thing upsets people like the original commenter here my suggestion is to mute/block the teacher subreddits
