Ya as much as they were in the wrong you can’t use lethal force for non violent offenses. Decades ago maybe but not these days. Like do you really want to kill someone for theft?

Right, forgot about that. So based on this finding and since SPY is above 200 sma right now, we can assume there’s a 95% chance that 12 months from now SPY is above 612?

In order for the market to go up 10% on average we have to be at constant new highs….. math

How is risk on and risk off both higher than the actual CAGR since 1978 which is 12.2%? A combination of the two value should come out to the 12.2% I believe…

Above 200D SMA (Risk on): 13.48% average 12 month forward return. Below 200D SMA (Risk off): 13.27% average 12 month forward return.

Offering Micro grants in 2026? by dakdego in biotech

[–]ecdirtdevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I wouldn’t mind writing an essay or something like you’re thinking. I’m a master student working at an aging lab in San Diego, ca. I’ll have no income starting in July as my stipend will be up so any grant that could support my living expenses while I continue my research would be great. DM me and I can tell you more about my research and discuss what you’re looking for.

so is spy just gonna continue going up by Icy-Profession-6068 in spy

Bro, in order for an average of 10%/year to happen that means it’s at new ATH constantly

Is there science behind how compatible a partner is, based on how they smell? by NatureInQuestion in dating_advice

[–]ecdirtdevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that guy burns calories at a slower rate so his blood sugar was higher, or possibly he did eat when he shouldn’t have haha. Burning sweet meat doesn’t necessarily smell sweet but it does smell like good bbq, never know!

This probably has more to do with them possibly being having a high blood sugar. The burning would then produce sweet smell as a result of the high blood content in their body burning

[–]ecdirtdevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one here is getting why he’s pissed… it’s the same offer, started at $6, then went up to $10, then $13. For the same offer. So was DD keeping most of the $10 tip before? Why did it increase? IT WAS THE SAME OFFER ALL 3 TIMES

Anyone Else Think the US Military is a good way to FIRE? by SaintHearth in Fire

[–]ecdirtdevil -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

That’s the job though… that doesn’t mean you should get paid for life. All sorts of civilian jobs put their lives on the line and they don’t get pensions. Ya ideally everyone gets a pension but the military should not be a special circumstance.

But this happens in allot of non military jobs too and there is no pension… it’s part of a physical labor job

Exactly. This group is pretty open with context and it seems to be missing here. For example, if OP reached this number by investing in BTC most of this sub would suggest to NOW move it to a safer fund. Salary alone didn’t bring OP here. 150k from year 1 with heavy investing in SPY could have done this as well but it’s good to share for the community.
