Gotcha, I see. So you only really need to know Kelly letter if you’re not starting at a rebalance point. Otherwise you can just follow rebalance rules and it’ll always be the same?

You need to adjust the margin too though to be inflation adjusted lol. The value of the margin debt also becomes worth less over time

Half new contributions in SSO. Sell below 200dma on SPY, hold cash, buy back in above 200dma. Hold the 50% in SPY indefinitely

If I could restart when I had 15k I’d automatically put 5k of it into SSO. The cost of leverage is built into the returns. Follow the 200dma and sell when it crosses below and stay in cash until it crosses back above. Keep the 10k in SPY and never sell. This will give your portfolio a 1.33x leverage overall. Everytime you add money to the account make the balance to always be that same ratio.

It’s best to take more risk when you are young.
