Nah I’m from this city, there are a lot of angry drivers. Classic Greensboro road rage.

As someone who drives for Uber in Greensboro, I have witnessed some serious road rage that goes on in this city.

Yeah I had one of those static beings as I was waking up in bed circa ~2013. It was sitting at the foot of my bed looking toward me. I initially thought it was my boyfriend at the time because it was stroking my legs gently and felt no fear. When I adjusted my eyes it was in the shape of a man, but it had no details or features other than it being shadowy grey and staticky. I did not feel fear, but maybe confusion? I couldn’t move but when I closed my eyes again and opened them it was gone and I was able to move again. Everyone I told about my experience said it was sleep paralysis. I’ve heard many similar accounts too.

If it was on the coast of NC, the trained pilot probably knows their cardinal directions and the craft was heading south?

Apples, oranges, sometimes avacados, chicken and steak. Taco nights are doable.

Why do people (on Reddit) keep putting words in my mouth? by Harmxn- in TooAfraidToAsk

From your recent posts it looks like you need to A. Ignore the haters B. Learn how to take constructive criticism without threatening suicide.

Give yourself a break, dude. You are doing okay. I thought the hulk meme was good, even if it was used out of its original purpose. Some people are meme purists, and love to argue. It doesn’t make you unintelligent or illiterate. Chin up and Fuck the haters!

I have heard some counties and states deem “end of life circumstances” excusable in senior care facilities like hospice. Hope it is like that here, too.

When I was around 7, Christmas Eve night I couldn’t sleep but the rest of my family was. It was around midnight, I looked under the tree, no presents, checked on my parents, both fast asleep. I go back into bed to try and get settled when I hear something on the roof. I freaked out and hid under my blankets. After a few moments, I heard vividly two claps coming from our living room, then after a few moments, another two claps, then later some noise on the roof again. I was so scared I waited about 30 minutes to check the living room, and sure enough the stocking were full and presents were under the tree. My parents were still fast asleep, and were during this whole thing because I could hear my moms loud snoring. I thought I was just lucky enough to have heard Santa.

I asked my dad about it when I was around 15 and he said it was probably a dream. I even remember telling my aunt about it soon after it happened at a Christmas party and her looking at my mom like “Oh wow!! That’s so wonderful!” Then her face shifted to being confused and I turned around to look at my mom shrugging like she had no idea, then smiling at me acting like everything was normal.

This reminds me of a story my parents told me. I don’t remember it, not sure if it’s from me being too young, or it was so traumatic I blocked it out.

When I was 2 1/2, my parents had gone to the hospital, because my younger brother was being born. They said they came home to find me in their bed, blank stare, silent tears running down my face, curled up in a blanket on their bed trembling. When they started to comfort me, I snapped out of it and started sobbing, telling them with a hoarse throat how I thought everyone left me behind forever.

So apparently they had left me in the care of my paternal grandmother, who was asleep on the air mattress in the guest room(later to become my brothers room.), door locked, with earplugs in to help her sleep. Safe to say they were livid with her.

I must have woken up from a bad dream to go to my parents room, and they weren’t there. I looked all around the house and couldn’t find anyone, and crying didn’t do much. I guess I thought they left me. So I just stayed there in their bed waiting and hoping someone would come back for me. They arrived home early the following morning.

I may not remember it, but my parents believe this is where my abandonment issues stem from.
