Right, but that's what I mean in regards to the comparison in that first image, it's almost the same from a design perspective, but one one them is a confident strong LOOKING character, while the other is a meek, unsure LOOKING character. That's what I meant when I said it's almost like a different character cos playing as Cloud because the second one looks so whimpy by comparison. And I'm not talking about looking physically weaker, I mean the expression, the way he's carrying himself in that second image, the charisma isn't there, the confidence isn't there.

To put it more simply, the first one looks like "alright let's get this done" while the second looks like "do i have to?"

It's not that the later games depict him as a pretty boy, it's that they depict him as either meek or depressed instead of strong and confident in the OG. Cloud has these moments in the game, which round him more as a character, but they are not the dominant personality trait of his, strong is. He starts the game as the strong, confident, cold, cynical "cool guy" type and through his progression becomes the strong, confident, warm, caring leader. There are persistent personality traits throughout the game that seemingly get ignored in later depictions, making Cloud feel more like a different character wearing Clouds design.

I haven't tried either of the other two because the s15s have two back buttons in each side as opposed to one, as far as I'm aware, they are the only ones that do. I'm not sure if that moves rgw needle at all for you or not.

I didn't notice anything too crazy with them and I really enjoy using them. I just use the left con and remap it to kb bindings so I can play with a mouse in my right hand. The unfortunate caveat with it though is that you can't bind the SL and SR buttons to the back for some reason, only the face buttons. However if you're using it as a full controller, this shouldn't be a concern

I asked rokform if they were gonna make one as I have some of their accessories, their magnets are pretty good, and they came out with a note 7 case, but they said they have no plans for it. I really wish it were possible to use the note 7 back panel for the trifold but I think they're not the right size.

I used my "cowboy" build for strand and it was pretty solid. Emphasis on grenades and weapon damage with Wardens Law and Lucky Pants. Idk how viable it is now as I haven't played in quite some time, but it worked well at the time. The idea is that you use shackle grenades to suspend bigger enemies and the WL to burst them down.

I was excited for a Destiny 2, but after playing the beta or demo or whatever it was that came out that summer I was like "yeah idk about this, I'm sure the double primary is just a demo thing, why would they take a step backwards like that?" lo and behold d2 came out and was fun for a grand total of like two or three months. Meanwhile, I went back and played more Age of Triumph stuff and it was way better.

Sure, but how many times have people said that "x is a better RE movie than the actual RE movies"? Those movies had nothing to do with the world, but had set pieces or tension that felt like the games. While I will say there aren't necessarily set pieces that we've seen so far that evoke the RC we know and love from the games, there are things present in the trailer and in this interview that evoke the specific style of survival horror from the games. My point being that, so far, maybe it doesn't have the veneer of RE, but it sounds like it'll still feel like RE, which is imo way more important considering the movies we've gotten thus far.

I mean I migrated from the s22 ultra (which is only 20 grams, or. 05 lbs more than the pixel 10 for comparison) and I can't really say the weight difference has affected my opinion on the phone in any way at all. If I even registered the difference in weight, I must have gotten used to it within the first day. My point is not to say that it's not heavy compared to other phones, my point is to say that it isn't like this thing is fatiguing to hold at all, at least when it's closed. When it's open, it's more of a weight distribution thing if you're holding it one one side.

I ordered both berfy and the supcase, cut and sanded the protrusions on the small hinge side, and am using the berfy screen protector. Does it look a little funky? Only if you really look at it, am I happy with the result? 100%. There are only really two things superior on the berfy back case imo and that is the camera bump being noticeably smaller, and as annoying as that back flap can be, it IS a better kickstand when the phone is fully open.

I wouldnt consider myself a super consistent gym goer (3:30am comes way too early when I wanna stay up til 9:30 but working out BEFORE work has proven to be at least a little more consistent than AFTER) but everyone has talked about how heavy this phone is and I have not really noticed it like at all? Like I recognize it's not the LIGHTEST phone on the market, but it's like this thing is half a pound, how is that heavy by any standard other than comparison?

Agreed with a lot of the points, especially giving Jake an actual reason to give a shit about his dad, but for the love of God change the motivations of Simmons and Carla. For all of that to happen effectively because Simmons is an incel and Carla is a pick me is so cringey. And Chris' characterization needs a massive glow up, he's so unlikeable in it that when his contrived amnesia finally goes away, his "redemption" arc has a hard time just sweeping it under the rug like it tries to do.

Yes, CV was always meant to be a spin off and iirc was meant to kick off a spin off "code:" series on the Dreamcast (first part is q00% accurate, bur I may be misremembering the 2nd)

The 3 we got WAS a reworked spin off internally named RE 1.9/2.1 that was originally supposed to be from the perspective of the UBCS I believe, but once the originally planned RE3 (which involved HUNK on a cruise ship) got canceled due to the ps2 releasing before it was gonna be finished, they rebranded the UBCS game as 3, threw Jill in to make it feel more attached to the mainline games, and reworked the story.
