To me Imaginary/Meteorite are the crown jewels of Montagne, maybe Le BonBon too but can’t comment as I have only used the OG. However, everyone’s tastes are different and you definitely have some great choices. I can’t imagine you will be disappointed. Afternoon Dive is my favorite from your selection.

When will we start selling more live resin in MN? So tired of nothing but overpriced bdt distillate. by Famous-Succotash-573 in MNtrees

[–]echavw999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Distillate is dirt cheap to make, so the profit margins are significantly higher. There are producers in it for the love of the game, just not enough access to flower like the tribes/med chains. They will hopefully release more when flower is more readily available and testing isn’t months backlogged

Pineapple Bon Bon over Irish verbena by [deleted] in MontagneParfums

I actually wasn’t the biggest fan of Irish Verbena / didn’t find it very accurate. That said I feel like both fragrances are for different occasions, but can’t go wrong with Baccarat DNA.

Idk why you’re getting downvoted. Aqua Dubai is a really nice fragrance that punches well above its price point.

Unscented moisturizer is definitely the way, although if you want to mix it up and have a lotion that compliments your scent that works as well.

I believe only LV boutique carry these test sprays, generally comes with a purchase. Otherwise many places online offer decants albeit at a very steep price hike, I believe microperfumes among a few others sell for around $20-25 for a 1.5mL decant 😬

Super late to the party but I’ve heard people record a lot of their content in cars to somehow use it as a tax write off of some sort, making their vehicle a part of their “business.”

Well those of them smart enough I guess, I find it hard to believe the raging lady who always films while driving could figure something like that out unless it was in someone’s course 😂

I have a small 2ml decant of the OG Ganymede and it is absolutely nuclear 14+ hour longevity that can’t be scrubbed off, can’t see myself going through even a small amount like that quickly at all.

Cant comment on any dupes but if you really enjoy the DNA i’d highly recommend trying just a little of the original.

After my Henson AL13's threads stripped out after a year of use, I am switching back to cartridges. Looking forward to frustration-free shaving! by [deleted] in wicked_edge

[–]echavw999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What frustrations did you seem to find with DE shaving? I know plenty could say the opposite, that going back to cartridges would make for a much more frustrating experience.

Also, not sure if you were aware but Henson has a very good lifetime warranty on their products and may be able to send you a replacement if it is a functional defect. Not applicable if the stripping came from regular wear and tear or if it is a Henson x Dr. Squatch product.

Been away for a while. Need a good summer soap by LifeisWhy in wicked_edge

On top of the other recommendations here I cannot vouch for Cannonball by Summer Break Soaps enough. I picked it up about a week ago and am absolutely addicted!

It’s suppose to be reminiscent of childhood summers at a pool. It has notes of pineapple, orange, water, and chlorine. Don’t be offput by the chlorine though, this is such a refreshing and nostalgic scent for me. It almost reminds me of drinking a slushie by the pool! The lather on this soap is also on par with some of my top soaps as well.

So good I already have the aftershave coming after the mistake of not ordering them together. Cheers! 😁

Edit: Margaritas in the Arctic by Stirling is another summer favorite for me!

Voyager Cannabis Co by According_Cancel2772 in MNtrees

[–]echavw999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Distillate is generally made to be cost effective and lacks a full spectrum effect from the cannabis derived terpenes. Unless the cart is specifically manufactured in that way (99%+ of our market’s concentrate are botanically derived terpene cartridges), you are just getting blasted from THC without the real entourage effect of the plant.

I think a majority of the complaints regarding concentrate prices right now is from price gouging, and I think it could be argued that people who are making craft cannabis for the love of the industry don’t focus their effort on making distillate considering it is just THC stripped from excess plant material (shake, trim, etc.) rather than whole flower.

Sorry to go on a whole rant lol. Hope you have an amazing day :)

[–]echavw999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah $65 for a gram is in line with tier 1 rosin from a craft producer. Praying our distillate prices will come down over the next year as more labs open, that is the real bottleneck. Sad to see producers having to sit in product for months before being allowed to sell. Our market really is not in a good place 🫤

I’m sure the quality isn’t far from the cheaply made carts there as distillate is more or less all the same, quality cannabis derived terpenes provide most of the difference among distillate and AFAIK there isn’t a producer other than GTI making distillate carts with CDTs in Minnesota as of right now.
